YOUR TIME CREDITS Lancashire Winter/SpringSpring / Summer 2014 2014 Welcome Hello, Thanks for picking up this Time Credit brochure, it will tell you what Time Credits are, how you can earn them, and how you can spend them. You might not have realised, but Time Credits are being earned and spent all over the country. You’re now part of a network of over 13,000 people and hundreds of organisations who give their time to their community. Welcome to the team. Here in Lancashire, nearly 10,000 Time Credits have been earned already, and 75 groups and organisations are involved. You can join in too, in a way that suits you. Have a look on The Team page to find out how. We should probably introduce ourselves - we’re ‘Spice’. We work with people in your area to support Time Credits. It’s very nice to meet you. The green ‘Earn’ icon lets you know how many Time Credits can be earned for each activity on the dark green ‘Earn’ pages. Our communities are no different, and this is where Time Credits come in. If you give an hour of your time to your community, your community will say thank you by giving you an hour back to spend on something you like to do. Everyone’s hour is worth the same and everyone gets thanked. There’s no limit to how many credits you can earn, and the more you earn the more you can spend. Time Credits never expire and they don’t cost any money. There are lots of ways to earn Time Credits across your community, and hundreds of ways to spend them across the country. You can earn and spend in a way that suits you. Why? Because everyone has something to give, and ultimately, because a bit of time together makes all the difference. Carers or support workers are given free entry with anyone who has earned Time Credits and needs a bit of extra assistance. If you or someone you know or support have any specific accessibility needs, please call our friendly partners before visiting, they’ll be happy to help. We do not provide the services and activities where you can earn Time Credits or the activities where Time Credits can be spent, and so we accept no liability for the quality, adequacy or suitability of any such services or activities. All the great ways to spend your Time Credits you see in this brochure are provided by businesses, councils and community groups. They do not receive any payment for providing these opportunities. We think you’ll agree that’s rather nice of them, so let them know if you enjoyed their activity, and feel free to tell them how you earned your credits. They offer a range of dance, drama and music classes for young people and adults of all abilities and produce plays and shows throughout the year. What do I need to know? They bring creative people and groups together with the aim of encouraging wider engagement in Music and Arts. What do I need to know? l Your Time Credits get you a wristband that enables entry to every venue over 2 performance nights of live music in each location. l You can pick up wristbands from Longton and Chorley Libraries. l Performances are 7pm-11pm. Since 1960 it has been owned and operated by the amateur dramatics group CADOS, who have been putting on high- quality productions for over 75 years. CADOS present at least 6 productions per season. What do I need to know? You can use 3 Time Credits to see any of the shows listed here. All of these great shows can sell out, so to avoid disappointment call the box office in advance on 01257 264362, or drop in to Malcolm’s Musicland, Baptist Chapel, Chapel Street, Chorley.     CHORLEY RAMBLERS’ AGM Tuesday 26th November 2019 Chorley Cricket Club, Sandringham Road, Chorley, PR7 1LG Mike Wisdom, Chairman, introduced himself and opened the formal part of the meeting. There were 33 people in attendance at the AGM and 2 apologies were received. 1/ The notice calling the AGM and describing the matters to be considered today was mailed out to all our members in October 2019. Mike asked that someone move that the reading of this notice now be dispensed with. Proposer - Eileen Entwisle Seconder – Linda Southworth 2/ Approval of the minutes of our last AGM on Tuesday, 27th November 2018. A copy of the minutes can be obtained from our secretary and is also available on our website. Mike asked that someone move that the reading of the minutes held on 27th November 2017 be dispensed with and that they be approved and adopted as presented. At last year’s AGM, Mike said he was pleased to announce that Chorley Ramblers had had a very successful year with a substantial increase in membership, reversing the national trend which is still declining. Although this year we have also had a healthy increase in membership, Mike advised that the committee who run the Chorley Ramblers has declined and therefore we are in a critical state. During 2019 three committee members and a volunteer, for various reasons resigned and gratefully, three have joined, but we still have a skeleton board. This is not just unique to us, but common to all clubs relying on volunteers.

Jak podają źródła, w 1948 roku francuski badacz, kompozytor, akustyk Pierre Schaeffer (1910-1995) nagrał za pomocą mikrofonu dźwięki naturalne m.in. (śpiew ptaków, hałas uliczny, rozmowy) i próbował je przekształcać. Tak powstała muzyka nazwana konkretną (fr. musigue concrete). W tym samym roku wyemitował w radiu „Koncert szumów”. Jego najważniejszą kompozycją okazał się utwór pt. „Symphonie pour un homme seul” z 1950 roku. W kolejnych latach muzykę konkretną łączono z muzyką tradycyjną. Oto pionierzy tego eksperymentu: John Cage i Yannis Xenakis. Muzyka konkretna pojawiła się w kompozycji Rogera Watersa. Utwór ten trafił na ścieżkę dźwiękową do filmu „The Body” (1970). Grupa Beaver and Krause wprowadziła muzykę konkretną do utworu „Walking Green Algae Blues” z albumu „In A Wild Sanctuary” (1970), a zespół Pink Floyd w „Animals” (1977). Pierwsze próby tworzenia muzyki elektronicznej miały miejsce w Darmstadt (w Niemczech) na Międzynarodowych Kursach Nowej Muzyki w 1950 roku. W 1951 roku powstało pierwsze studio muzyki elektronicznej przy Rozgłośni Radia Zachodnioniemieckiego w Kolonii (NWDR- Nordwestdeutscher Rundfunk). Tu tworzyli: H. Eimert (Glockenspiel 1953), K.     Chorley Local Plan 2012 -2026 Statement of Consultation Regulation 22 (1) (c) report December 2012 1. Introduction 1.1 This document has been prepared to meet the requirements of Regulation 22 (1) (c) of The Town and Country Planning (Local Planning) (England) Regulations 2012. The document has been submitted alongside the publication edition Chorley Local Plan 2012-2026 (previously referred to as the Site Allocations and Development Management Policies Development Plan Document). It sets out the consultation which has been undertaken during the preparation of the Chorley Local Plan and in order to meet the requirements it sets out the following information; • Who was consulted. • How they were consulted. • A summary of the main issues raised in response to consultation. • How representations made have been taken into account in the Publication Local Plan. 1.2 This statement was first made available in September 2012 alongside the Publication Local Plan. Following the Publication stage, it has been updated to set out how the Council consulted at the Publication stage and how many representations were received in relations to the Publication Local Plan with a summary of these representations. Copies of all representations received in relation to the Publication consultation, and all other submission documents, have been submitted to the Secretary of State for independent Examination. 1.3 The Chorley Local Plan 2012-2026 has been prepared in accordance with the Council’s Adopted Statement of Community Involvement (SCI). The SCI sets out how Chorley Council consults with stakeholders and the community. The Chorley Council SCI was adopted in July 2006.
