Leh, a high-desert city in the Himalayas, is the capital of the Leh region in northern India’s Jammu and Kashmir state. Originally a stop for trading caravans, Leh is now known for its Buddhist sites and nearby trekking areas. Massive 17th-century Leh Palace, modeled on the Dalai Lama’s former home (Tibet’s Potala Palace), overlooks the old town’s bazaar and mazelike lanes. Khardung La is a mountain pass in the Leh district of the Indian union territory of Ladakh. The local pronunciation is "Khardong La" or "Khardzong La" but, as with most names in Ladakh, the romanised spelling varies. The pass on the Ladakh Range is north of Leh and is the gateway to the Shyok and Nubra valleys. Nubra is a subdivision and a tehsil in Ladakh, part of Indian-administered Kashmir. Its inhabited areas form a tri-armed valley cut by the Nubra and Shyok rivers. Its Tibetan name Ldumra means "the valley of flowers". Diskit, the headquarters of Nubra, is about 150 km north from Leh, the capital of Ladakh. Turtuk is one of the northernmost villages in India and is situated in the Leh district of Ladakh in the Nubra Tehsil. It is 205 km from Leh, the district headquarters, and is on the banks of the Shyok River. Pangong Tso or Pangong Lake is an endorheic lake in the Himalayas situated at a height of about 4,350 m. It is 134 km long and extends from India to the Tibetan Autonomous Region, China.

NUBRA TO TURTUK TO NUBRA
After the sun peeps out, you will pack your bags as you will leave for Turtuk village which was under Pakistan before 1971. Nestled in the Nubra tehsil, 205 km from the Leh town, on the banks of the Shyok River, it is the last village before LOC. With stunning beauty throughout the valley, you will be blessed with views you might have not seen before. 11 BOOKING TERMS

LEH 14 12 CANCELLATION POLICY
No refund will be given in case of cancellation from the customer side at any given time post registration No refund on any un-utilized services mentioned in the package (if any) In case of any unforeseen or foreseen circumstances, we will try and accommodate the tour with another tour agency, if customer does not wish to join the other tour, no refund will be given In case of cancellation from the tour company, due to unavoidable circumstances, a full refund will be provided
13 TERMS & CONDITIONS
In case of any unforeseen events during the course of the tour, at the decision of the Road Captain, required changes would be made, riders and pillions are requested to corporate at such given situations, if any The sequence of day tour schedules may change depending on traffic schedule / restrictions on some roads and other travel-related conditions, or due to any natural calamities If there is an unprecedented increase in the cost of transportation (including fuel surcharge) or accommodation, there will be an additional cost charged to the traveller The Services of Back up Vehicle is not included on leisure days & post finishing the sight- seeing tour as per the Itinerary Aawara Adventures reserves the right to change the itinerary at any given point and the same shall be applicable and conveyed to travellers accordingly
LEH 15 14 IMPORTANT NOTE
The below mentioned rates are valid for Indian citizens only, rates for foreign nation- als will be decided on trip basis At some areas, hotel or camps are not well equipped to fit a large number of groups for stay, hence we will have to divide the groups in different hotels / camps depending on the availability Since we will be riding in winter, the roads will be completely covered with snow, travellers are requested to ensure having taken thick fur jackets or something similar along with thermal wears to keep themselves warm Travellers having health issues specially asthma are requested to declare while booking so necessary arrangements can be taken care of In case of bad weather conditions, if the ride won't be able to move forward, we will continue the tour on SUV / Traveller or may have to return back from the place. (No refund will be initiated in such cases)
