Bring extra poop bags as sometimes they run out at the park. • A bowl and large jug of water is helpful to keep dogs cool and hydrated during play. A bowl and water is always a life saver. • Keep your dog on leash when approaching and exiting the park. While your dog may be friendly, their are other dogs and owners that may not want their dog to greet other dogs unless in the off-leash area. • If you are training your dog, inform others if you require extra space. Don’t train on especially busy days at the park. • Do not allow your dog to play aggressively with any other dog or human. Exercise and/or train your dog before you enter an off-leash dog area. Your dog is your responsibility. • Be proactive with your dog. Don’t let it get out of your sight and out of your control. If needed, keep it on the leash until it earns the ability to be free with other dogs. Ask a professional for help if you need help in assessing a situation for your dog. • Be safe and have fun.
