NEW AT THE LIBRARY Page 4

Meanwhile at BCPL, Graphic Novels are on the shelves! Graphic novels are the hottest thing in TV and film, not to mention book sales and libraries. Our graphic novel collec- tions in the juvenile and young adult sections have proven very popular. But did you know there is a whole world of graphic novels for grown-ups? In response to patron requests, Bee Cave Public Library is happy to announce that we have added a small section of new and classic graphic novels for adults and mature teens (think TV-MA or R movie rat- ings). This new section includes best-selling and award-winning titles spanning every genre from memoir to historical fiction to sci-fi fantasy and more. The graphic novels are housed in the adult section of the library, next to the paperback and fiction collections.

Never thought to check out a graphic novel? Our resident “fangirl” and technical services librarian/digital specialist Me- gan has created a list of read-alikes to get you started.
