Monday, May 22. (D) *. DEPART FOR STOCKHOLM Depart today on any airline of your choice from home to Stockholm, , arriving the next day. Dinner and light breakfast served onboard the plane.

Tuesday, May 23. (B,D). STOCKHOLM Upon arrival at the Stockholm International Airport, take a taxi to the super deluxe centrally located GRAND HOTEL, where we stay seven nights. We will reimburse you the taxi fare. Briefing, cocktails and Gala Welcome dinner at the hotel’s gourmet restaurant.

Wednesday, May 24. (B). STOCKHOLM Our sightseeing tour of the capital of Sweden will pass by the main historical buildings and many canals and bridges of the city. A visit is made to the unique City Hall, one of the great architectural masterpieces of the past century, where you will see the Golden Hall with brilliant mosaic tiles and where the banquets are held every year. This evening you will see the opera Das Rheingold by Wagner at the .

Often called the “Venice of the North,” Stockholm is an extremely graceful city built on fourteen islands. It boasts many fine museums and parks, the most famous being the Museum Island of Skepsholmen.

Thursday, May 25. (B,M). STOCKHOLM Today we walk across our hotel to see the Royal Palace and the Old Town, one of the largest and best-preserved medieval city centers in Europe. This evening you will see the opera Die Walküre by Wagner at the Royal Swedish Opera. You will have a light meal during one of the intervals.

Friday, May 26. (B). STOCKHOLM Today is free to take a boat ride from across our hotel. The travel pass “Red Sightseeing” gives you 24 hours of your Hop-on/Hop-off experience to visit by boat the Wasa Museum or the Drottningholm Palace.

Saturday, May 27 (B,M). STOCKHOLM Morning free. This afternoon we will see the opera Siegried by Wagner at the Royal Swedish Opera. You will have a light meal during one of the intervals.

Sunday, May 28 (B,D). STOCKHOLM Today is free to see any of the 50 museums in the city including the Jewish Museum, The ABBA Museum and the Nobel Prize Museum. This evening we will have our Gala Farewell dinner at the best gourmet restaurant in Stockholm.

Monday, May 29. (B,M). STOCKHOLM Today is free to visit any other museum you have missed out, such as the , one of the finest art museums in the city, housing paintings by Edward Munch and Carl Larson. This evening we will see the opera Götterdämmerung by Wagner at the Royal Swedish Opera. You will have a light meal during one of the intervals.

Tuesday, May 30. (B). STOCKHOLM – BACK HOME We transfer you for departure aboard your airline from Stockholm back home, arriving the same afternoon. Farvel. See you on another H.A.T. Tours.
