Vuelta a España Un año más... gracias Por tercera temporada consecutiva tenemos el honor de vestir el maillot de Telefónica y Movistar por las carreteras de medio mundo. Después de 34 temporadas sin descanso, me siento un afortunado en poder seguir un año más al frente de uno de los mejores equipos ciclistas del planeta. En estos momentos más que nunca, GRACIAS. A Telefónica, a Movistar. Y gracias también a Pinarello, a Nalini, Adidas, Volvo y todos esos, ya más amigos que colaboradores, que un año más nos acompañan en esta aventura. Como cada invierno, las esperanzas e ilusiones sobre la nueva temporada se disparan. Luego, cuando Australia y Argentina nos den nuestro particular pistoletazo de salida, tocará refrendar sobre la bicicleta esas expectativas. No será sencillo igualar lo logrado estas dos campañas, en las que hemos conseguido ser el único equipo del pelotón internacional en vencer en Giro, Tour y Vuelta. Quizás no alcancemos ese nivel o tal vez lo superemos -¿por qué no soñar con ganar una de las grandes?-, pero de lo que sí estoy convencido es de que todos y cada uno de los que formamos esta gran familia del Movistar Team daremos hasta la última gota de nuestro esfuerzo por defender con orgullo este maillot y honrar la marca. Por nosotros, por ellos… y por vosotros, decenas de miles de amigos que nos acompañáis en las carreteras y a través de las redes sociales. ¡Gracias a todos y que 2013 sea un año cargado de éxitos! Innegable su espíritu de superación. En su debut en 2009 se fracturó la clavícula en la París-Niza. En las Navidades de 2010 fue atacado en su país por unos delincuentes que a punto estuvieron de acabar con su carrera. En la Vuelta a Asturias, justo antes del Giro 2011, se rompió de nuevo la clavícula y en el Tour de Superar las ese mismo año aguantó 20 días con un esguince de tobillo. A finales del pasado año, una caída en el Gran Piemonte, con fracturas en mano, clavícula y radio, adversidades cerró la que había sido su única campaña sin accidentes. Asentado ya en profesionales demostrando la calidad que atesoró en el pelotón amateur español –más de 20 triunfos en dos años-, su polivalencia –ha brillado Un futuro tanto en pruebas de un día como en vueltas de una y tres semanas– le augura un esperanzador porvenir en la elite internacional, en la que comienza a ser por escribir reconocido por su permanente combatividad. Quel giorno, la concorrenza sarà agguerrita. Il 26 giugno, dalla Bretagna, partirà infatti il Tour de France. Tuttavia, al di là della Grande Boucle, il calendario dell’Unione Ciclistica Internazionale, non prevede nessun’altra competizione. La certezza, quindi, di poter ospitare qualche big, gli organizzatori, a giusta ragione, se la coltivano. Saranno presenti almeno 4 squadre World Tour. Già sin d’ora è garantita la partecipazione della Qhubeka-Assos, nata recentemente sulle ceneri della NTT. Per intenderci, si tratta del Team del campione europeo Giacomo Nizzolo, e dei 2 ticinesi d’adozione, Domenico Pozzovivo e Fabio Aru.
