Notes Cropmarks of a large enclosure covering five acres and bounded on the west, north and east by straight ditches, and on the south by the old course of the River Nene. Within it air photographs show indistinct traces of what may be three sides of a courtyard villa, and also two small enclosures in the SE corner. It is probable that the southern half of the site has been destroyed by the river. Scheduled as a Roman villa. English Heritage .
