For many artists and fans, folk metal is more than just music: it is a way of revitalising tradition. Folk metal is then a genre which is closely related to individual‟s cultural identities. As part of popular culture, heavy metal has been investigated for instance in the fields of cultural studies and psychology. Andrew Brown investigates how heavy metal emerged as subject for academic research. Deena Weinstein approaches heavy metal as culture and behaviour that is shared by individuals from different cultural backgrounds. However, subgenres like folk metal have not yet been explored in depth by academics. Analysing folk metal‟s nuances in specific national contexts would provide further knowledge on national cultures and identities. One example of folk metal reflecting elements of national culture is Finnish folk metal. The bands whose works belong to this genre usually draw from Finnish culture to compose their works, which usually feature stories from a variety of traditional sources such as the epic book Kalevala. Such stories are then transposed into new media, disseminating the artists‟ concept of Finnishness.

Ez a tanévkezdés bizony több szem- műsort adtak volt, illetve mostani ESZI- pontból is különleges volt, hiszen a s diákok. Az előadás nagyon színvonalas törvényi előírások miatt, a 2016-2017-es és sokszínű volt. Diákjaink énekes, verses tanévtől kezdve az iskolánk Energetikai és táncos produkcióval is készültek. A Szakgimnázium és Kollégium néven fog jubileumi ünnepségen hat dolgozót működni, a másik pedig az, hogy idén tüntettek ki emléklappal: Lacza Csabát, ünnepeltük meg az ESZI harmincadik Muck Pálnét, Pupp Ferencet, Tormáné születésnapját. Gimnazija Ravne na Koroškem Korpiklaani. Pisna predstavitev. Ravne na Kor, Gimnazija Ravne, 2010 2 1 UVOD V tej pisni nalogi bom poskušal predstaviti mojo najljubšo skupino Korpiklaane. Govoril bom o nastanku in začetkih te finske skupine, ki je v svetu dokaj znana, in je dokaz, da se lahko moderni metal in tradicionalna finska glasba, popolno ujemata. Upam da se bom še dodatno kaj naučil in da bom poglobil znanje o tej skupini, ki me spremlja že eno leto. 2 SPLOŠNO O SKUPINI Skupina trenutno sestavlja šest članov to so: Korpiklaani. Pisna predstavitev. Ravne na Kor, Gimnazija Ravne, 2010 3 -Jonne Järvelä – vokali, kitara -Jaakko "Hittavainen" Lemmetty- violina -Kalle "Cane" Savijärvi- kitara, vokali -Matti "Matson" Johansson - bobni -Jarkko Aaltonen – bas kitara -Juho Kauppinen- harmonika Slika 1: skupina Skupina igra folk metal, to je zvrst metala, ki vsebuje klasične metalske instrumente ( kitara, bobni, bas kitara), ter tradicionalna glasbila npr.: harmonika, violina, dude,… Lirike pesmi so ponavadi povezane z naravo, vojno, alkoholom, ženskami, mitologijo, vojne Rusije z Finsko; pesmi so zelo lepo melodično obarvane, ampak močna slabost je pa to, da nepoznavalec te skupine, ne bo ločil ene pesmi od druge, če jih prej še ni slišal (s podobno težavo se soočajo tudi v skupini Sonata Artica, ki je folk, power, melodik metal skupina). Posebnost skupine je tudi to, da je dodala metal k folk glabi in ne obratno, kakor druge skupine npr.: Finntroll, to izjavo uporablja zelo velikokrat Jonne Järvelä. 3 ZAČETKI SKUPINE Glede glasbenih dejavnostih v mladosti lahko pišem samo o Jonnetu in Jarkkonu, saj ni na voljo informacij o ostalih članih.
