UNIVERSITY OF THE PUNJAB Notification No.1 B.A./B.Sc. Annual Examination, 2017 It is hereby notified that the result of the Bachelor of Arts / Science Annual Examination, 2017 held in April 2017 has been declared as under:- Maximum marks in this Examination are as under: - B.A./B.Sc. 800 Note: 1. This notification is issued, errors and omissions excepted, as a notice only. An entry appearing in it does not itself confer any right or privilege independently to the grant of a proper certificate/diploma/degree which will be issued under the Regulations in due course. 2. If a candidate finds any discrepancy in his/her result card or if he/she does not receive his/her result card, he/she will be bound and responsible to submit his/her application within 60 days from the date of declaration of his/her result provided that it will not be applicable to such cases where time limit already exists. 3. No application will be entertained after the expiry of the time limit of 60 days for any reason, or excuses and the result already declared will be considered as final. This result is also available on www.pu.edu.pk Department of Examinations, University of the Punjab, Quaid-e-Azam Campus, Lahore. INTRODUCTION 1. The Examination commenced with effect from 05th April 2017 and terminated on 24th April 2017, as far as theory papers were concerned. The practical Examination, however, continued till 23rd June 2017. 2. A total number of 20133 candidates submitted their admission forms for this examination. 3. Fee Defaulters are informed to clear their dues within 7 days after the declaration of result otherwise the University will not be responsible for any consequences. 4. The candidates who have written wrong roll numbers are informed to pay fine and clear their results within 7 days after the declaration of result otherwise the University will not be responsible for any consequences. 5. The candidates having objections R.L. Registration Number are informed to provide their registration number and clear their results within 7 days of declaration of result. 6. The Center Superintendents/ Examiners/University Monitoring Teams etc reported cases of alleged use of Unfair Means against 510 candidates. All these cases are decided before the declaration of result except 38 cases. 7. The result cards of candidates have been dispatched through Registered Mail on 29th August, 2016 and the result cards of all colleges have also been delivered. 8. Admission forms for the Supplementary Examination 2017 will be received till 22nd September 2017 during office hours. The hills in the playground added an unimaginable layer of thrill, while - Spotlight - Campus Buzz - Wordsmiths our DP authorization made us a full continuum IB school, and our first ICSE group started in Grade 6. - Parents’ Corner - Teachers’ Corner - CAS Corner More importantly, we have the breathing space for long-term culture building beyond academics; making - Sports Corner - Trending sports, arts and reading a rhythm of life on campus, and identity as core to growth. First Sports – Our reprogrammed timetable, staybacks, sports fields and now a stronger team are about Field Trip to Aurangabad– A Syncretic Experience transforming the traditional school sports paradigm into a world class skills based programme, inspiring every child to fitness, as we work to establish houses and interschool leagues and seasons. Our goal is Our trip to Aurangabad was like a time travel back to 2500 years ago - a flashback getting Neev kids to think of fitness not as a time-table item but a way of life. Second Arts – Last year we into what transpired with Gautam Buddha coming to Aurangabad and the amalga- built our choir. This year we build our Orchestra and Drama teams. Neevotsav morphs this year; Grades mation of various religions like Hinduism, Jainism and Islam that followed his 4-10 move to Neevotsav spotlight spread through the year. Neevotsav-Finale in December will be for advent. There was much evidence of these religions coexisting. The journey into Grades 1-3 and the stayback drama teams with the orchestra and choir.
