PURCHASING A STUDENT FOOTBALL SEASON PASS DOES NOT GUARANTEE ADMITTANCE TO THE STUDENT SECTION. STUDENTS WILL BE ADMITTED ON A FIRST COME, FIRST SERVE BASIS. ONCE CAPACITY IN THE STUDENT SECTION HAS BEEN REACHED, STUDENTS WILL BE REDIRECTED TO STANDING ROOM ONLY STUDENT SECTIONS.

Purchasing: ​

● Student Football-only season tickets for the 2019 season are $99. Tickets are on sale now. Each student (graduate and undergraduate) is eligible to purchase 1 student season ticket. The only exception to this is for married students (See student spouse tickets). ● There is also a special combo package deal for students this year who want season tickets for both football and . For $99, students will receive season tickets for both football and basketball (while supplies last). ● Student sections include SS, S, RR, and R. Seating is general admission in those sections. ● Tickets can be purchased online here with your student ID number. You must ​ ​ have your Cal 1 card in order to purchase tickets. If you need ADA seating please contact the Customer Service team over the phone by calling (800) GO BEARS (462-3277), or in person at the Cal Athletic Ticket Office located at Memorial Stadium. ● Students must be an active fall semester UCB student with no restrictions on their student account with the registrar to purchase tickets and gain admittance to home games. ● If a student purchases a football season pass and then graduates, withdraws or cancels their UCB registration their pass will be cancelled for all remaining games and there will be no refunds. ● Extension students must go to the ticket office in person to purchase a student combo pass. Game Days:

● If you have purchased a student season pass you must enter through GATE 8 ​ and make your way to the East Rim of the stadium. ● Student season passes are attached to the barcode on a student's Cal 1 card. If you don't have your Cal 1 card FOR ANY REASON you will not be able to gain admittance to games. ● Once security has successfully scanned the Cal 1 card, the student will be given a wristband which must be worn in order to sit in the student section. Wristbands are only administered at the student section.

Away Games: ​

● UC Berkeley students are eligible to purchase student tickets for UCLA and Stanford at a discounted student rate ONLY IF THEY HAVE THE SEASON FOOTBALL PASS OR COMBO PASS. For all other away games, students may purchase tickets at the regular public price. ● To purchase tickets for the Big Game in Palo Alto, you must already have a student football season pass. Once you have a season pass, it is first come, first serve to purchase seats in the student section. (Information will be sent out closer to the game) ● For all other away games, student seats are first come, first serve. ● Students must present both their ticket and Cal 1 card at the game in order to sit in the designated student sections.

Student Spouse Passes:

● Students with a spouse or domestic partner are eligible to purchase one student spouse season pass along with his or her own season pass with a copy of marriage certificate or certificate of domestic partnership.

● All student spouse passes will be HARD PAPER TICKETS (individual for each game) and must be picked up at will call by the UC Berkeley student. These paper tickets are valid for General Admission seating in the student section. ● A student spouse pass can be purchased at the Cal Athletic Ticket Office, but NOT online. ● Those with a spouse pass may enter through the student gate at Gate 8

ADA Student Season Tickets:

● For students with ADA needs we provide seating at the top or bottom of specific sections within the student section. ● If you require ADA seating please contact the Sales and Service Team directly by calling 1-800-GOBEARS. ● You will be issued a hard ticket for these specific ADA, wheelchair bays, and be required to show your ticket and Cal 1 card at the Student Gate.

Home Game Tickets:

● Students are able to purchase home game tickets based on availability in the student section. There will be a limit of 1 per student per home game. ● If a student purchases single game tickets the only delivery options are Print At Home (e-mail). Tickets cannot be mailed to students.

Student Guest Tickets

● Students are able to purchase up to two (2) guest tickets per game (based on availability) for non-students to sit in the student section (limit one (1) for USC). ● Please call the Gold Standard team at 1-800-GOBEARS to purchase Student Guest Tickets.

Extension, Exchange, International Students, and Fall Program For Freshmen (FPF):

● Students in the Fall Program For Freshmen are eligible to purchase student season tickets in the same manner as all other students. ● Extension Students: Any extension student besides those in the Fall Program For Freshmen may purchase student tickets only at the Cal Athletic Ticket Office at Memorial Stadium.

● International Students: International students are eligible to purchase student tickets in the same manner as all other students. ● Exchange Students: Exchange students are eligible to purchase student tickets but they must come in person to the Cal Athletic Ticket Office. Exchange students must present the Cal Athletics Ticket Office with their proof of registration as well as their student identification card. The Cal Athletic Ticket Office will then create an account for the student and issue them general admission paper tickets, located in the Cal Student Section. ● Incoming freshmen looking to purchase a pass will be eligible starting Fall move in week.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS REGARDING FOOTBALL STUDENT PASSES: ​

I already have my student ID - Do I have to buy football student season pass? ● Cal students must still purchase football season passes online at www.calbears.com and will then use their Cal 1 card, with the purchase embedded in the card, to be admitted into home football games.

If I can't go to the game, can somebody else use my pass? ● Student season passes are transferable on a per game basis, and only to other students via ticket transfer online. Each ticket may only be transferred once. When you transfer a ticket, it is not able to be transferred back. Once a student logs into their online account they will see the option to transfer their tickets and just need to follow the simple online instructions. What happens if I lose my student ID? ● Cal 1 cards can be replaced at 180 Cesar Chavez Center, Lower - 510-643-6839. The old ID will be read as invalid if someone tries to use it for admission into a football game. The new ID will have the football season pass purchase information on it.

What if I forget my Cal 1 card? ● Cal Students without their valid Cal 1 card will not be admitted into the game. There are NO exceptions and NO refunds.

Is there assigned seating? ● At the student gate, students are issued a wristband for general admission to sections SS, S, RR and R upon presenting a valid Cal 1 card with a student season pass. Students wishing to sit together should arrive together.

After I have purchased a season pass on www.CalBears.com do I need to pick anything up?

● The student will only need their Cal 1 card with the Cal student number that corresponds to the online purchase. Student spouse passes are paper tickets which need to be picked up at the Cal Athletic Ticket Office.

What if there is a problem scanning my ID? ● Please see the Cal Athletic Ticket Office representative at the Student Gate during the game to assist you with any issues.

What can I do to get into the game faster? ● Arrive earlier! The student gate opens 2 hours before kickoff. For kickoff times please refer to www.CalBears.com.

What do I do on game day to enter the stadium? ● As long as the student has purchased your Cal Football season pass on www.CalBears.com you only need your Cal 1 card for admission to the student gate.

Can I be refunded? ● No, there are no refunds or exchanges. All sales are final!

What if I decide not to come to Cal or transfer to another school but already purchased my football season pass? ● All sales are final.

Why does the Cal Athletic Ticket Office not mail student tickets? ● The Cal Athletic Ticket Office's student data is uploaded from BearFacts every night. The addresses cannot be changed in our system and are often incorrect. Having students pick up passes and tickets ensures everyone will receive the passes and tickets they ordered.

Men’s Basketball

Can I buy a Cal Men’s Basketball season pass without a football season pass? ● No, Men’s Basketball student passes are only available through purchasing a student combo pass (football + basketball). Please contact the Athletic Ticket Office during Fall move-in week to be the first to purchase!

Where is the student section at Haas Pavilion? ● Students have the best seats in the house located courtside along sections 15, 16, 17. The Cal band and other students are also able to sit in section 23.

Can I purchase single game tickets? ● Student single game tickets are available at the Haas box office (on Spieker Plaza) on gameday based on availability. Student single game tickets are not guaranteed in the student section.

Where do I enter? ● All students enter through Gate 6
