By designing special programs for each player, Coach Reggiardo maximizes everyone’s potential and gives them more tools to use on the court.This also includes specialized year-round dietary plans. The program incorporates martial arts, boxing and yoga in addition to lifting, trunk work, stretching and strength exercises. Our aim is to find the most eclectic and synergistic approach to ensure that every player is reaching his own goals. 2005-2006 Stanford Basketball 5 THE SIXTH MAN CLUB Maples Pavilion and the Sixth Man Club Close to 7,300 fans gather to watch Stanford Basketball games. With the intensity of the Sixth Man Club, Maples Pavilion is the most feared arena on the West Coast. Situated at the center of the finest college athletic facilities in the country, Maples Pavilion draws thousands of students and fans to SOLD OUT crowds at every home game. With a packed house, the Cardinal is always ready to defend its home turf. Maples Pavilion is quiet during the day, but once the students pile in for home games, the entire arena erupts with energy.The students jump and yell, and television announcers literally have to scream into their microphones to be heard over the crowd. 6 2005-2006 Stanford Basketball MAPLES PAVILION Maples Pavilion: Home of Stanford Basketball Maples Pavilion was completely renovated prior to the start of the 2004-05 schedule.The $30- million facelift began immediately following the 2003-04 season, and it provides Stanford with one of the most state-of-the art facilities in the country for one of the nation’s top basketball programs.
