Concrete Scanning
Scanning, analyzing and interpreting what is beneath concrete is made easier with the scanning service of CTS. Our scanning service provides a real‐time view of what is inside concrete structures and generates true images automatically for direct on‐site evaluation of scanned data.
CTS has a Digital Control Unit (GSSI Structure Scanner, made in USA), which is a non‐destructive device that can locate PT tendons, MEP inserts, Live Cables and hollow core strands inside the concrete structure. Concrete Sawing ( Wall and Floor)
CTS has many types of floor saws to suit your concrete or other floor sawing jobs: these include large diameter and small diameter electric saws. This allows for internal and external work to be carried out as well as achieving different depths of cutting. Electric saws are particularly suitable for use in environmentally sensitive areas.
The floor sawing plant is commonly used for cutting flat services such as motorways, bridges, pavements and floor slabs. Floor saws are capable of cutting up to 750 mm in depth depending on the machine used.

Wire Sawing
Diamond wire sawing allows almost any large concrete or masonry structure to be cut where other methods are not feasible. It is an ideal tool for cutting and removing reinforced concrete, such as bridge sections, jetties, columns or beams. Diamond wire sawing is particularly useful when extremely thick and/or awkward shapes need cutting. A diamond beaded sawing wire can be wrapped around almost any size or shape of reinforced / mass concrete or masonry structure.
The wire is fed through a series of pulleys, and tensioned to suit the operator’s requirements. Once positioned, the diamond sawing wire is pulled and rotated around the object at 25 linear meters per second. This enables the diamond beads attached to the wire to cut the material as it is pulled through.
Diamond Wire Cutting produces less kerf and wasted materials compared to solid blades (slurry wire may be similar). On very expensive materials, this could save hundreds or thousands of dollars of waste. Unlike slurry saws that use bare wire and contain the cutting material in the cutting fluid, DWC uses only water or some fluid to lubricate, cool the cut, and remove debris. On some materials DWC may not need water or cutting fluid, thus leaving a clean dry cut.
The wire is cooled and flushed by free flowing water at all times: this helps to ensure the ease of cutting and minimize overheating whilst in operation. As the wire is pulled through the object, any excess wire is stored onto a series of pulleys and stacked within the looping system. Our diamond wire sawing machines are powered by electricity.

Diamond Drilling and Coring
Diamond drilling and Coring is a quiet, non‐percussive way of forming holes and openings. The result is free from bursting or spoiling and requires little or no reinstatement work. Water and dust control attachments can be used when work occurs in a clean environment.
There are two main types of diamond drilling used: wet drilling and dry drilling – both techniques providing precise holes through all types of base materials such as mass concrete, reinforced concrete, brick masonry, and block work.
Different attachments range from trailer mounted coring rigs, hand‐held drill motors, twin column assemblies, and automated rigs, all of which are used and specified to suit all drilling environments.
Having the right drill rig and set‐up can be the difference between a successful and non–successful operation being carried out.

that it holds at any given time. Impact tools, crushers, grapples, shears and others are available, most of these tools are powered by the same hydraulics that give mobility to the arm itself. The options for attachments makes these types of robots extremely versatile. The advantages of robot demolition units are varied. They are highly durable and powerful. Although they are quite small in size compared to traditional machines, these robots can produce about five times more power and higher speed. The second biggest benefit of choosing these advanced demolition robots is they are compact in size and thus make a perfect choice of tighter spaces. In fact, they are designed in a way they can easily walk through doorways. These robots can also undertake demolition work for high-storey locations. The modern remote-controlled demolition machines are quite operator-friendly. These robots mostly run on hydraulic or electric power sources, so don’t produce fumes during operation. The removal of otherwise manual labor is attractive as the robot can handle heavy equipment with more poise and precision than the average human operator.
Use of advanced demolition robots is a perfect solution to many environmental issues contractors were facing so far. They produce little to no noise and vibration while cracking through structures. They don’t produce harmful fumes. They are extremely versatile to fit any complex demolition site condition. As they are operated remotely, they reduce accident risks considerably. Dust Controlled Chasing Chasing is often associated with Mechanical & Electrical trades where chases for conduits and pipe work are required in a wall, floor, or ceiling of masonry or concrete structures. We carry out chasing using hand held equipment with a blade attached. Two slots are cut at a predetermined depth and then the center of the channel is removed using a lightweight hand held breaker.
