2019-2020 OFFICERS/DIRECTORS

Nominations for Club officers and directors will be taken at the September meeting and voted on at the October meeting. All 5 Club officer positions are open with one year terms. 4 director positions are open with two year terms. Proposed candidates for office must be a member in good standing for at least two years, and have attended 50% of the current years (Jan-Sept) monthly meetings.

2019 Big Game season opens Big Game Archery season opens October 1st. Remember to sign in prior to going into the woods.

2019 Sportsman’s Challenge

The 6th Annual 2019 Sportsman’s Challenge was held on September 7th. It turned out to be a Sunny 70‐degree day. The weather was perfect for a friendly competition, good food and a special cake was made for the event. There were certificates, cash and a plaque to be awarded. Congratulations to the winners. This year Nick Bruno took 3rd place, with Darren Orzechowski at 2nd and Hunter Montanya winning the Top Shot Plaque. I would like to thank those that came out to support the event and the club.Two new members: Vicky and Pedrohad an enjoyable time.In addition, I would like to thank those that helped with the event: Al Bruno, Nick Bruno, Ralph Ditrocchio, Ron D’Apprille, Hunter Montanya, Ed Malle, Rich Toombs Sr., Joe Valastro, Rudy, Mike Sano, Heidi Kast (the Baker) and also those that dropped off fliers to Sporting Goods Stores in the area.Your support of this event is much appreciated. YOUTH HUNT: Saturday 10/19/19 9a‐ 1p Youth only. After 1PM adults can hunt. Limited to ages 12‐15 years with valid hunting license. Please pre register by calling Pheasant Chairman (Bob Bready 845‐883‐ 5935), so we have a good idea of numbers of youths/dogs etc.

Above pheasants are 50/50 mix of hens/cocks

Stocking is at 7Am on date above.

Hunting begins at 9a.

NYS Hunting license, blaze orange, back Tag worn are required.
