Starting in May dues collection schedule was posted online, announced at Rifle/Pistol Range Use 1 every meeting, put in our newsletter, sent to members via a postcard and finally those that had not paid received a call(s) from me. Garrich spent three hours working on it this week and it now runs like new -- Thanks Garrich! NEW MEMBERS GEORGE AND GUS MUSTAKAS George and Gus own and operate East Fishkill Provision. Hunters see the flyer in the newsletter for all of your venison processing needs. George and Gus donated the 76lb pig for this years pig roast. STEEL PLATE SCHEDULE Plates will be out October 2nd 16th and 30th. We start at 5pm and shoot until we run out of ammo. Pistol and 22lr only. Call me for details. Board to pattern your shotgun is on the left hand side of the trap range. Jeff Pearl 845 562 7854 Page 2 2019-2020 OFFICERS/DIRECTORS Nominations for Club officers and directors will be taken at the September meeting and voted on at the October meeting. All 5 Club officer positions are open with one year terms. 4 director positions are open with two year terms. Proposed candidates for office must be a member in good standing for at least two years, and have attended 50% of the current years (Jan-Sept) monthly meetings. Candidates for director positions will be pooled. The Club membership present at the October meeting will vote for their top among the candidates,and those with the most votes will be elected. I need to communicate dates to Pat and would like a commitment from a few guys comfortable working with trees. Pat is the expert and we just need a few good backs. Please contact me if interested. We’re discussing making this area more accessible for shore fishing and launching smaller watercraft (canoes, etc…) Mow and “Weed whack”. This will be continuous through the warmer months. We are a sportsmen’s club located in the beautiful Town of Plattekill, Ulster County, New York. For membership info checkout our website: http://www.bethlehemrodandgun.com 2019 Sportsman’s Challenge The 6th Annual 2019 Sportsman’s Challenge was held on September 7th. It turned out to be a Sunny 70‐degree day. The weather was perfect for a friendly competition, good food and a special cake was made for the event. There were certificates, cash and a plaque to be awarded. Congratulations to the winners. This year Nick Bruno took 3rd place, with Darren Orzechowski at 2nd and Hunter Montanya winning the Top Shot Plaque. I would like to thank those that came out to support the event and the club.Two new members: Vicky and Pedrohad an enjoyable time.In addition, I would like to thank those that helped with the event: Al Bruno, Nick Bruno, Ralph Ditrocchio, Ron D’Apprille, Hunter Montanya, Ed Malle, Rich Toombs Sr., Joe Valastro, Rudy, Mike Sano, Heidi Kast (the Baker) and also those that dropped off fliers to Sporting Goods Stores in the area.Your support of this event is much appreciated. After 1PM adults can hunt. Limited to ages 12‐15 years with valid hunting license. Please pre register by calling Pheasant Chairman (Bob Bready 845‐883‐ 5935), so we have a good idea of numbers of youths/dogs etc. Above pheasants are 50/50 mix of hens/cocks Stocking is at 7Am on date above. Hunting begins at 9a. NYS Hunting license, blaze orange, back Tag worn are required. Limit per day: 2 Pheasant and 2 chukar .
