Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences, Warangal KALOJI NARAYANA RAO UNIVERSITY OF HEALTH SCIENCES, WARANGAL PRESS RELEASE DETAILED NOTIFICATION Admission into MPH course through Computer based (online) Entrance Test Application forms through online are herby invited from the eligible candidates for admission into MPH course through Computer based online Entrance Test and for the year 2017 – 18 for the seats in College affiliated to Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences, Warangal. 1 The candidate desires to appear for Entrance test for admission into MPH course shall apply through online on the website http://knruhs.in from 22-06-2017, 2.00 PM to 08- 07-2017, 05.00 PM only. The online application can be filled through any computer with internet connection (home/internet cafe/net center) 2 For other details read the Prospectus carefully. Eligibility for Admission into MPH course 3.1 The Candidates should be Indian National and should satisfy Local or Non-Local status as per G.O.P. 646, Education Dept., dated 10-07-1979 and must satisfy the eligibility criteria as below: S.No Eligibility Status a) Age: There is no age restriction for admission into MPH Course b) Sex Both women and men candidates are eligible to apply for the MPH Course. c) Educational The candidate should have passed : Qualification a) Bachelor Degree with at least 50% in any discipline from recognized University by the University Grants Commission and the Degree awarding University must be member if Association of Indian Universities. If the Degree is acquired from Distance Education Mode it must be recognized by Distance Education council (DEC) besides recognized by UGC and AIU b) The percentage will be calculated from the total marks of 1st , 2nd & 3rd year under 10+2+3 scheme including languages and other subjects. c) Foreign candidates other than Medical / Para Medical applying for MPH course should submit equivalence certificate from Council of Higher Education Andhra Pradesh / Council of Higher Education Telangana, Association of Indian Universities New Delhi, Ministry of External affairs Government of India, New Delhi(they must fulfill requirements of Presidential order and GOP No. 646 dated 10th July, 1979 d) Foreign candidates of Medical / Para Medical applying for MPH course should submit equivalence certificate by the University of Health Sciences and temporary registration for the duration of Post Graduate training from the respective Councils i.e., MCI, DCI, CCIM, CCH,INC etc., should submit. d) Entrance Test Must have secured not less than 40% marks in the Entrance Test. In case for both of SC and ST candidates, minimum marks shall be not less than 30% Competent marks. Authority Quota(CQ) & Management Quota(MQ) e) Physical fitness The candidate shall be medically fit. 4 Entrance Test centre : The Entrance Test will be conducted on 23-07-2017 from 2.30 PM to 4.00 PM at one centre at Hyderabad. Reporting time at the Entrance test Centre by 1.30 PM sharp. 5 Download of Hall Tickets : The eligible candidate shall download the Hall Ticket through online from 10.00 AM on 18- 07-2017 from the website http://www.drntruhs.org by entering his/her Application Number and Date of Birth as (DD/MM/YYYY). 6 Date and Time of Computer Based Entrance Test 23-07-2017 from 2.30 PM to 4.00 PM Reporting time at the Entrance test Centre by 9.00 AM sharp. Gora joins Ananda College, Colombo as a Lecturer. 1927 Saraswathi joins Gora on September 26, defying the taboo that pregnant women should not see eclipse and views the solar eclipse in Colombo. Saraswathi views lunar eclipse at Vijayanagaram, Andhra Pradesh. September: Gora joins his alma mater P.R. College, Kakinada as Lecturer and Head. Gora removes his so-called sacred thread which is a caste symbol and has differences with his father on this. 1928 Eldest daughter Manorama (b. July 29) without any deformity even after Saraswathi views the eclipse. Gora is ex-communicated from his caste. Saraswathi Gora follows him.

While each contribution in the many diverse areas of human welfare and societal advancement is of great value, efforts to protect, preserve and promote the health of our citizens is of utmost importance. This is not only because health is the best summative indicator of development in several sectors but also because health is a vital ingredient for achieving success in all other areas of human development and is pivotal for sustained economic growth. For that reason, I have gladly taken up the role of guiding the Public Health Foundation of India (PHFI) as its Chairman since July 2018. It was actually in 2016, that I came to appreciate and admire the intellectual rigour, careful planning and meticulous execution that researchers from PHFI brought to the design and implementation of the projects of the Centre for Environmental Health (CEH). I was also aware of the wide array of educational, training, research and health system strengthening activities that PHFI was undertaking across the country. Since I assumed the position of Chairman, I am gaining a greater understanding of the scope and impact of these initiatives.
