#1 The freedom of opinion is one of the highest right of our modern age. In this country, we normally say what we think and the press can write whatever they want. That‘s how we grew up. But unfortunately, there is still no freedom of the press in many countries all over our planet. People have to fight for their rights, people have to fight for their voice - to say what they want.

#2 Because of the freedom of opinion and the freedom of the press, peo- ple will be informed about happenings: there is a huge source of informa- tions. People can decide, which informations they want, which informa- tions they don‘t trust. We can be free in our opinion.

#3 More of the half of 170 countries have visible problems with the free- dom of opinion and the freedom of the press. Without nr. 16 of the sus- tainable development goals there is a appreciable restriction in the quality of life in the concerned countries. People cannot live their dreams, people cannot reach the goals they want to, because they probably have a given opinion.

#4 The No-Go has happened: A journalist has been arrested in january 2017, the reasons are still not clear.

#5 Not only do our human rights become more and more under pressu- re but also the systems that protect them,“ said Heinz Patzelt, General Secretary of Amnesty International Austria. „For many governments have broken international law last year and at the same time circumcised the power of the institutions, which are supposed to protect the rights of the people.

#6 We should support our fellow men in other countries to make freedom comes true. Ignorance is one of the decisive factor to undercut suppressi- on. Only with pressure from the outside we can help the population wi- thout any rights.
