According to Chairman of the Barbados Cane Industry and Director of the Barbados Agriculture Management Company (BAMC), Dr Atlee Brathwaite, the problem sugar cane farmers have been facing is the low prices they receive for their crops. “There are farmers already in the sugar industry,farmers who know a lot about the production of sugar cane. The problem with farmers at the moment is that the prices they get for their sugar cane, I would say is remu- nerative – it is below the cost of producing the sugar cane,” he noted. Es sind richtig schöne Modelle geworden mit vielen Drucken und Details. Ja, es gab schon von Wiking und Brekina Modelle im Maßstab 1:87 vom sogenannten G-Modell aber es waren allesamt schmale, frühe Modelle. Schuco hat nun die letzte Ausbaustufe mit breiteren Kotflügeln realisiert und zudem noch Cabrio, Targa und Speedster sowie einen frühen, 1975er Turbo hinterher geschoben. Alles Modelle, die es bei genauer Betrachtung, in 1:87 noch nicht gegeben hat. Erstaunt sind wir, wie aktiv der portugiesische Hersteller Trofeu in letzter Zeit ist. Kaum kündigt er Neuheiten an, werden diese auch schnell geliefert und die Modellauswahl ist durchaus interessant geworden. Ganz gespannt haben schon viele Sammler nach den Wiking Neuheiten für April 2019 gefragt; jetzt sind sie bekannt und in dieser Info enthalten. Chaque vol a duré un peu plus de 7 minutes et l'AirCar a pu atteindre une vitesse d’environ 200 km / h et une altitude de près de 1000 pieds. Une étape décisive en cette période où le transport ne cesse de se réinventer. L’AirCar ressemble beaucoup à une voiture de sport à deux places affublée d’une hélice et d’un arrière évoquant le mythique avion Lockheed P-38 Lightning. La motorisation fait appel à un bloc 6 cylindres que l’on retrouve sur les motos B.M.W. K 1600 GTL. (qui est pour l’heure une solution provisoire). Il développe ici 140 ch. et entraine l’hélice via un arbre développé par la société DM Prop. Cet avion pas comme les autres a recours à des matériaux composites pour ne peser que 1100 kg.
