Prepared a paper on issues of liability and compensation and attended the experts’ group meeting in Geneva o 1998, Legal specialist/national consultant (FAO/UNDP) on “Sustainable Management of Land Resources in Sri Lanka." The statutes on land use and land resources were surveyed, inconsistencies identified and recommendations made for a better legal framework for the sustainable management of land resources 2 o 1997/98, Legal consultant/EIA and Institutional Lawyer, Institutional Strengthening for Environmental Assessment/International Resources Group (ISEA/IRG project).
