Empirical studies include 3 surveys of mechanical engineering industry, pharmaceutical industry and food industry; 5 major case studies in European package development industry, and a final test in a global enterprise.  Extensive international experience. Some related projects are: survey of Japanese manufacturing and packaging (2004); international relations with companies and researchers in USA, Europe, Asia; knowledge on EU research applications process.  Other tasks: Industry cooperation, and teaching/tutoring of undergraduate students in industrial design, packaging logistics, packaging technology.  Part time researcher since 2003 due to participation in external industry related projects.
