The Strongsville Soccer Club is a 2,400 member recreational and travel soccer club located in Strongsville, Ohio, a suburb of southwest Cleveland. The club maintains 19 fields including 3 lighted championship fields. Countless players have been selected to represent OYSA-North on ODP State Teams, including Region II ODP and USYSA national teams and pools. The High School Program has benefited from this success. The boys and girls teams have been to the Ohio State Division 1 Final eleven times in the last fourteen years, winning 5 State Titles. Nearly 90% of all players go on to play at the collegiate level. Players have attained All-Ohio, All-Midwest, and All- American honors. The programs have been consistently ranked in state and national polls including a brief #1 NSCAA ranking going into the state final in 2003. Come join the fun! 2014 adidas National Soccer Showcase This event is designed to bring together teams from across the United States in a format that enables coaches and players to begin the process of team development and comparison against competition from different leagues, conferences, states, and regions. Showcase Games The Showcase portion of the adidas National High School Soccer Showcase allows teams to play in either a five-game or seven-game format over two or three days. Teams playing in this format are grouped with similarly sized or competitive schools in order to make sure that the games are as evenly balanced as possible. Game Format Length of game: 40 minutes Roster size: Unlimited General game rules: National Federation Laws of the Game Referees: Two-Referee System Division Breakdown Division One: State and Nationally ranked teams or teams with the ability to compete at the highest level Division Two: Have the ability to compete but may not have the depth of Division I. May include Division I reserve teams Division Three: Smaller schools, new programs, and growing developing teams—May include JVA or JVB teams Division Four: JVA, JVB or Freshmen Teams adidas Cup Series (Boys Only) Teams choosing this format will be placed in two groups of six and will play two games on Friday and three games on Saturday versus each team in your group. The winner and runner-up in each group will then play for the adidas National Showcase Red Cup Series Championship in a semi-final and final match on Sunday. Teams placing 3rd and 4th or 5th and 6th will play for either the White or Blue Cup. Prizes will be awarded to the winning adidas National Showcase Cup Series Champion players and head coach. Junior/Senior Spotlight Games One of the important features that makes the adidas National High School Soccer Showcase unique is the Junior/Senior Spotlight games (classes of 2016 and 2015). Over 100 college coaches regularly attend this portion of the Showcase and a thousand or more fans have jammed the Ehrnfelt Soccer Complex to cheer on their favorite players. Each participating team may send their top Juniors and Seniors to participate in these Spotlight games, scheduled to be played on Saturday evening. Over 900 top Juniors and Seniors competed in this event in 2013. Our popular 7-v-7 and 8-v-8 formats will continue to be used in 2014. Sophomore Coaches Clinic The adidas National High School Soccer Showcase has created a unique opportunity for the class of 2017 to showcase their talents by participating in the Sophomore Coaches Clinic. Nationally renowned college coaches are sought out to implement a team development model of training with a final "test" of what the players have learned in an 11-v-11 game played on Saturday evening. Freshmen Top Flight Games A select number of the top incoming Freshmen are afforded the opportunity to compete in this one-of- a-kind game highlighting the best of the best in the class of 2018. Start your high school career off by playing in this unique event. The players will play in an 11-v-11 format with small roster sizes and a chance to play in three 36 minute halves on Friday evening. U13-14 Travel / Middle School One of the factors that make for a quality community based program is the development of a seamless transition between the Travel and Middle School programs in to the high school. We are now offering the U13-14 Travel and 7th and 8th grade Middle School teams the opportunity to participate in the adidas National Soccer Showcase to get a taste for what it will be like when your younger players ultimately get to the high school. Teams will receive five games. Libby, Jr. for guiding me through the new world of test development; and to Dr. Erika E. Bourgulgnon for helping me see the old world in new ways. This study could never have materialized without the cooperation of many people at Valley Forge High School. My principal, Mr. David M. Smith, not only allowed the tests to be administered, but also arranged a less-demanding teaching schedule for me. Colleagues enthusiastically offered their classes for a variety of testing purposes. The tests were printed with the help of teachers in both the commercial and graphic arts departments. I owe a special debt of gratitude to my own wonderful students, who served as unsuspecting—I hope—subjects. I also wish proudly to acknowledge the role played by my father, Herbert Oooke, who gave up hours of his "bor rowed time" to assist in some of the scoring.

Ohio Contract Usage 2016-2017 MHEC CONTRACTS leverage the potential volume of the region’s purchasing power, while saving entities time and money by simplifying the procurement process and negating the need to conduct a competitive sourcing event. By offering a turnkey solution with the ability to tailor the already negotiated contract to match the entity’s specific needs and2 requirements,0162017 MHEC contracts shift some of the negotiating power back to the entities. Additionally, because of MHEC’s statutory status, many of these contracts can also be adopted for use by K-12 districts and schools, as well as cities, states and local governments. Smaller institutions benefit from these contracts as they allow these institutions to receive some pricing and terms normally reserved for larger institutions.
