HARYANKA DYNASTY WBCS

Ajatashatru (492-460 BC)  He was the son of Challan and Bimbisara, he occupied throne by killing his father. He adopted an aggressive policy of expansion. He defeated his maternal uncle Prasenjit, king of Kosala and married his daughter Vajjira.  িতিন চেলনা ও িবিসার পু, িতিন তারঁ িপতােক হতা কের িসংহাসন অিধকার কেরিছেলন। িতিন সসারেণর আাসী নীিত হণ কেরিছেলন। িতিন কাসালার রাজা তারঁ মামা েসনজৎেক পরাজত কেরিছেলন এবং তারঁ কনা বারার সােথ িববাহ কেরিছেলন। HARYANKA DYNASTY  Ajatashatru (492-460 BC) -  Ajatshatru destroyed Vaishali (capital of Licchavis) after a protracted war of 16 years by sowing the seeds of discord amongst the people of Vaishali.  Rathamusala A kind of Chariot with a mace, helped him to defeat Licchavis.  রাথামুসালা এক ধরেণর রথ গদা িদেয় তােক িলচািভসেক পরা করেত সাহায কেরিছল।  He took the title Kunika.  িতিন কুিনক উপািধ িনেয়িছেলন ।  The first Buddhist council was held during his time at Rajagriha in 483 B.C.  ৪৮৩ ি পুবাে রাজেহ তারঁ সমেয় থম বৗ পিরষদ অনুত হেয়িছল।  HARYANKA DYNASTY

 Udayain (460-444 BC) -  Son and successor of Ajatashatru, he built the fort upon the confluence of the Ganga and the Son river at Pataliputra (Patna), thus, transferred the capital from Rajagriha to Pataliputra. He was succeeded by weak rulers Anuruddha, Munda and Naga- Dasak.  অজতাশত্র পু ও উরসূির, িতিন পাটািলপু (পাটনা) -এ গা এবং শান নদীর সেম এই দুগট তির কেরিছেলন, এভােব রাজহ থেক পাটিলপুে রাজধানী ানািরত হয়। তারঁ পিরবেত দুবল শাসক অনু, মুা এবং নাগা-দাসাক রাজ কেরিছেলন।  Pataliputra city was founded by Uday Bhadra.  পাটিলপু শহর উদয় ভ িতা কেরিছেলন । HARYANKA DYNASTY
