(Image by Getty) Jun 22, 2018 19:00 BST Paul Farbrace to coach England during the Vitality IT20s against Australia and India Assistant coach Paul Farbrace will be in charge of England's T20 side for the Vitality IT20 matches against Australia and India. Head coach Trevor Bayliss will take a break from coaching duties and focus his attention during the two-week period watching the England Lions in the 50-over Tri-series competition against India A and West Indies A. He will also be in attendance at the Royal London One Day Cup final between Hampshire and Kent at Lord’s on Saturday, June 30 and will take the opportunity to watch some county cricket across the country. Bayliss will return to his role with England ahead of the ODIs against India starting at Trent Bridge on Thursday, July 12. Convention The Convention held at Bankstown Sports Club in August was a great success, with more than 150 members attending. The venue was excellent. We had guest speakers including Justin Langer (WACA Head Coach), Alan Mantle (Enhance Mind Performance), John Rhodes (ICC Anti-corruption Unit), Nic Bills (First-class cricketer) and Ian Lock (Cricket Australia Umpire Coach). Our season from a playing perspective was mixed. It was heartening to see our Prem women become a competitive unit and developing a winning culture. We were fortunate to have the services of two Scottish Internationals Ollie Rae and Sam Haggo, and whilst there is no certainty they will return we are working hard on player recruitment to ensure our young team has the benefit of age and experience as they grow as a team.
