He likely was born at Blue Jacket’s Nancy Mary John Lee Thomas Town, north of the Huron River and west of the Detroit River in southeastern Michigan Territory near Brownstown. Henry went to Washington DC in 1854 where he signed the Shawnee Treaty with his brothers George and Charles.
