VOLUME 10 ISSUE 1 OCTOBER 2019 SMG and AEG Facilities are now ASM Global Venue management companies AEG Facilities and SMG have completed their merger to create ASM Global, a new, stand-alone global facility management and venue services company that now operates more than 300 arenas, stadiums, convention centers and performing arts centers across five continents, including TCF Center. The completion of this transaction comes eight months after the companies announced the proposed merger. Onex, of which SMG is a portfolio company, and AEG’s subsidiary are now equal co-owners of ASM, according to ASM officials. Headquartered in Los Angeles, with key operations based in the Philadelphia suburb of West Conshohocken, ASM has corporate offices in London and Manchester, England; Brisbane, Australia; and Sao Paulo, Brazil. With the completion of this merger, the new ASM Global now boasts 61,000 employees around the globe. 2019 season for the TCF Cares Initiative is in full swing For the past three years, the TCF Center in has been rolling out the health and wellness program, which provides free exercise, networking and community engage- ment opportunities for locals and visitors. The 2019 season which began in May and will continue through October, includes exercise activities such as Zumba and yoga, coupled with opportunities to give back to local non- profits.

According to the center's general manager, giving back to the environment and the community is par- ticularly important when focusing on wellness. “Part of our overall sustainability program is designed to extend the culture of environmentalism into the greater Detroit community with free events and educational opportunities to residents and event attendees,” says Claude Molinari, general manager of TCF Center. “These sessions can be scheduled during a particular event with little or no cost to show management. Encouraging people to take care of themselves, communities and the planet is the basis of the TCF Center sustainability program.” New Attitude October 2019
