The kingdom of God is at hand. Repent, and believe in the gospel." The Golden Rule: "Do to others whatever you would have them do to you." The Greatest Commandment: "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength... You shall love your neighbor as yourself." Love of Enemies: "Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you." Repentance & Forgiveness: "If your brother sins, rebuke him; and if he repents, forgive him. Judging Others: "Stop judging, that you may not be judged. For as you judge, so will you be judged, and the measure with which you measure will be measured out to you.“ Faith & Prayer: "Have faith in God... Therefore I tell you, all that you ask for in prayer, believe that you will receive it and it shall be yours." Jesus' Destiny: "The Son of Man must suffer greatly and be rejected by the elders, the chief priests, and the scribes, and be killed, and rise after three days. Jesus' Identity: "Again the high priest asked him and said to him, 'Are you the Messiah, the son of the Blessed One?' Then Jesus answered, 'I am; and you will see the Son of Man seated at the right hand of the Power and coming with the clouds of heaven.' " Jesus and the Father: "After Jesus was baptized... a voice came from the heavens, saying, 'This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased.' me by my Father. No one knows who the Son is except the Father, and who the Father is except the Son and anyone to whom the Son wishes to reveal him.“ Jesus and the Holy Spirit: "The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to bring glad tidings to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim liberty to captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to let the oppressed go free, and to proclaim a year acceptable to the Lord.“ Healing: "And these signs (casting out) shall follow them that believe (Christians) in My name (Jesus) shall they "cast out 'devils'." Mark 16 Follower: “Take up your cross and follow Me” (Matth 16; Mark 8; Luke 9)" Some 13 Core Teachings of True Father Moon: Initial Message: The Messiah, Christ, LSA, 3rd Adam - will be born in Korea as a man, - and marry in Holy Marriage - and Bless others in Holy Marriage. /DP The Golden Rule: "Do to others whatever you would have them do to you." The Greatest Commandment: Fulfill the 3 Blessings. Whatever the time or place, love is most important. God was searching for a person who would live with a heart of love and who, when faced with suffering, could cut off its effects with love. /TF Biography …Core Teachings of True Father Moon: Love of Enemies: "When you love your enemies rather than seeking revenge, you create the condition for winning them over and eventually leading them. All the world religions- Christianity, Buddhism, Islam, etc.-that are persecuting me are actually signing over their blessings to me in the process. That is the inevitable consequence of their opposition.” “This is universal truth. Therefore, persecution is not really a bad thing; in fact, it is almost a necessity. Throughout history religions have been persecuted, but still they have flourished. Persecution does not necessarily bring destruction.” “This operates like a balance scale. If you push one end all the way down, the other end will rise all the way up. When Western culture and Western people persecute me, the Oriental, black and colored people will rise and acknowledge me as their champion. They will support me. " /23 Jan 1983 “Historians will record that Reverend Moon truly exemplified the command of Jesus: Love your enemies. Reverend Moon has been loving his enemies through every circumstance, including this recent court indictment and trial. I inspired the creation of the Inchon film for the purpose of awakening of the American public. Likewise I inaugurated the creation of The Washington Times to inspire righteous public opinion for the sake of America. These deeds will be recorded by future historians as manifestations of loving one's enemies.” /1 May 1984 ...Core Teachings of True Father Moon: Repentance & Forgiveness: Law of Indemnity + The Blessing Judging Others: "Stop judging each other” /DaeMoNim Faith & Prayer: Pray for the sake of all humanity, or for the heart of God and the cosmic dispensation. History is looking forward to another epoch, and such paryings, the coming of the Lord of the Second Advent. /SMM 16Oct 77 TF Destiny: Not to die (Prophetic, 3 dove in Noahs Ark) Marriage of the Lamb Fulfill the 3 Great Blessings ...Core Teachings of True Father Moon: TF' Identity: At a meeting held in the eastern part of the United States on the occasion of his first visit to the U.S.A., a questioner bluntly asked him: "Are you Christ?" In reply Sun Myung Moon raised his hand and pointed to various members of the audience in turn, saying: "and so are you... and you... and you also, if you can accept it. The purpose of the coming Lord is that some day all shall be like him – like Christ.“ In a way then, the Divine Principle, this new revelation, is the documentary of my life. It is my own life experience. The Divine Principle is in me, and I am in the Divine Principle. ...Core Teachings of True Father Moon: TF and the Heavenly Father: My every action is to liberate God from his sorrow. TF and the Holy Spirit: TF + TM = True Parents “New Holy Trinity” Healing: CP Providence since 1995…Ancestor Liberation Following: We have to make sure that we are very strict in following True Parents and ensure that all of humanity will eventually follow our footsteps. In order to enter the Kingdom of Heaven after the year 2000, we have to enter as families, as Blessed couples. We cannot enter the Kingdom of God without True Parents' grace. No matter how difficult your situation may be, you have to follow behind the Lord of the Second Advent. You have to follow completely.

True Parents’ Message and News English Version No. 68 天一國 8年 天曆 APRIL 20203 ARTICLE ONE Responding to True Mother’s Prophetic Guidance By Michael Balcomb t 5 am on March 12, an incoming KakaoTalk message from Dr. Young-ho Yun in our international headquarters awakened me. We’d just concluded a special European seven-day workshop for 120 Japanese members in Istanbul. Fumiko and I were so full of excite- Ament and appreciation for a really great workshop and for the hard work of the two lecturers sent by Rev. Eiji Tokuno from Japan, Rev. Moichiro Nakamura and Mr. Morio Obata. So before going to bed, I’d sent a quick report with some great photos to Korea, hoping they would inspire True Mother at her breakfast table. I suppose I was hoping for a word of encouragement. But the message I read from True Mother in the early morning hours was very different. Rather than warm appreciation, it was a cool and serious warning: “You should be taking the coronavirus threat much more seriously than you are, and you absolutely must refrain from these kinds of large gatherings!” To be honest, I was a little stung. For the past month, we had kept one step ahead of the coronavirus. Over a thousand people from Europe came to World Summit 2020 and the blessing ceremony in Seoul in February and no one got sick, surely a minor miracle. Then, the very next week, our subregional leaders held big Sun- day services all over Europe to share about their Korea experience—and again, nobody got sick.

Peter and Paul 12 Catherwood Street, Tewksbury, MA 01876‐2620, USA Tel. 978‐851‐5547 April 27, 2014 Divine Mercy Sunday Apostles of Mercy: A Reflection on the Married Priests Now! Prophetic Mission of Archbishop Emmanuel Milingo, Emeritus Archbishop of Lusaka, Zambia and the Canonizations of Popes John XXIII and John Paul II by Pope Francis Emmanuel Milingo was consecrated as a bishop for service in the Roman Catholic Church on August 1, 1969 by Pope Paul VI, Giovanni Batista Montini at Kololo Terrace, Kampala, Uganda following his election as Archbishop of Lusaka where he served from 1969 to 1983 as one of Africa’s youngest bishops. He experienced and developed a charismatic, Biblically based healing ministry and in 1976 he joined the Catholic charismatic renewal movement finding therein a link between his African heritage and his Catholic faith. The Second Vatican Council had revisited the question of charisms in the Church. As Leon Joseph Cardinal Suenens stated: “In regard to charisms, the Council adopted an open and receptive attitude expressed in a balanced text indicating that, providing that necessary prudence be observed, charisms should be recognized and esteemed in the Church of today. Indeed we might add: they are more important than ever before.” (A New Pentecost? Seabury Press, NY, 1975, p.30). Cardinal Suenens had been appointed by Pope Paul VI to oversee the world wide Roman Catholic Charismatic Renewal. Following his ordination as a priest in 1958, with additional education in Rome and Dublin, he became a champion of enculturation, espoused by Vatican II and later Pope John Paul II, working for the development of an authentic African Christianity expressed through indigenous spiritual and cultural symbols.

Hak Ha Han's Cosmic Blessing Draws Critiques and Curiosity Ariana Moon February 19, 2013 The 2013 Cosmic Marriage Blessing in Gapyeong, Korea continues to draw a flurry of online media stories days after the ceremony on February 17, 2013 (Korea’s time). Scores of news agencies pointed out the significance of this particular mass-wedding, as the first of its kind since the passing of the Unification Church’s founder, the Rev. Sun Myung Moon. As has been done countless times before, articles presented Rev. Moon as a controversial leader of a potentially “dangerous cult”. In what may seem like evidence of a selective memory to a Unificationist, reporters persistently reminded readers of how Rev. Moon had been convicted of tax evasion and subsequently sent to Danbury prison in Connecticut in 1984 without citing the fact that major Christian and civil rights leaders, including the late Rev. Jerry Falwell and Rev. Joseph Lowry of the Southern Christian Leadership Conference, had held a press conference to decry the injustice of his imprisonment. Alzajeera wrote, “The founder has been a lightning rod for controversy and was once jailed in the US for tax evasion. He also declared in 1992 that he and his wife were messiahs. …Critics have for years vilified the organisation as a heretical, weird and dangerous cult while questioning its murky finances and how it indoctrinates followers.” With a similar perspective, Rawstory.com, reported that “‘Moonie’ critics have pointed to [the mass weddings] as evidence of cult underpinnings,” and that despite

  • Married Catholic Priest's Story
EXCLUSIVE: Married Catholic priest’s story - Emmanuel Milingo Posted on Friday 1 April 2011 - 11:37 Owen Miyanza, AfricaNews reporter in Lusaka, Zambia "I am enjoying marriage life," reveals excommunicated Roman Catholic Archbishop Emmanuel Milingo of southern African country of Zambia. In this exclusive with our network, Milingo has also disclosed how he sneaked from the Vatican where he was heavily guarded to join his wife in Korea. The Zambian-born Catholic Archbishop then at the Vatican astonished the world in 2005 at the age of 76 when he broke the celibacy law and married a Korean woman, Dr. Maria Sung linked to Reverend Moon. Our correspondent caught up with Milingo at the House of the Unification Church whose overseer is Reverend Moon, seven kilometres from the capital’s central district where he resides with his wife when in Zambia. It’s a complete home set up conducive for the couple. “I am so happy because I have found a way in which I can live a satisfying and fulfilling life,” Archbishop Milingo explained in a two-hour interview. The Archbishop says he took a long time reflecting and thinking on the celibacy law. “I have been reading the history of the Catholic Church and see on how they came to the conclusion to impose celibacy on the priests,” he says “After this I found out that there is a lot of injustice that has been committed by the Catholic Church by imposing the celibacy on the priesthood.” Marriage Indeed one would wonder why a man after seven decades will think of marrying.

  • The Marriage Blessings of Catholics, His Grace Archbishop Emmanuel Milingo and the Most Reverend George Augustus Stallings, Jr
The Marriage Blessings of Catholics, His Grace Archbishop Emmanuel Milingo and the Most Reverend George Augustus Stallings, Jr. Phillip Schanker May 27, 2001 Republished in February 2021 Archbishop Emmanuel Milingo and his bride, Maria Sung On May 27, 2001, in the Cotillion Room of the Hilton Hotel in New York City, Heaven truly fired a "shot heard around the world." On that memorable day, Reverend Sun Myung Moon and Hak Ja Han Moon, in their capacity as True Parents officiated a simple, brief, yet dignified Blessing Ceremony of some sixty couples. But Father and Mother Moon have held Blessing Ceremonies by satellite, linking hundreds of millions, officiating from such marquis locations as Madison Square Garden in New York or Seoul's Olympic Stadium. Why did this humble, small ceremony attract media from around the world, generate front-page news on every continent, and create a more powerful impact upon the planet than any such blessing in history First, it was because some fifty of the couples were in fact religious leaders -- ministers, imams and clerics, Pentecostals, Baptists, Lutherans, Muslims, Sufis, and more, spiritual leaders in their own right. Yet, it was the participation of one or two such men of God that shook the world and provided for many a new and profound understanding of the significance of the blessing of marriage: His Grace Archbishop Emmanuel Milingo of the Roman Catholic Church and the Most Reverend George Augustus Stallings, Jr., founder and archbishop of the Imani Temple African-American Catholic Congregation. These courageous men of God are both known for their willingness to stand up for truth even in the face of great adversity.

  • Emmanuel Milingo: the Courageous Man Whom Even Pope John Paul 'Feared'
Emmanuel Milingo: The Courageous Man Whom Even Pope John Paul 'Feared' The Zambian Bserver November 2, 2017 As the 87-year-old Archbishop Emmanuel Milingo fast approaches the evenings of his life, much talk appears to be centered on the legacy he will leave behind. Archbishop Milingo is the former Catholic priest who had a serious tussle with the Vatican after he decided to marry in 2001 despite the prohibition on marriage for ordained priests. He is currently retired from public life and resides in Lusaka. Milingo was born on June 13, 1930 in Mnukwa to Yakobe Milingo and Tomaida Lumbiwe. He was educated in St Mary's Presbyterial School in Chipata and attended the Kasina Seminary and Kachebere Seminary. He was ordained a priest in 1958. He was the parish priest in Chipata from 1963 to 1966 and founded the Zambia Helpers' Society during this time. Pope Paul VI consecrated him as bishop of the Archdiocese of Lusaka in 1969. He served there from 1969 to 1983. Investigation of healing ministry In the 1970s, Archbishop Milingo conducted public religious services of healing and 'exorcism' which attracted huge crowds. European clergy in Lusaka criticized him for using elements of traditional African religion in his healing sessions. Summoned to Rome for an investigation, he had the support of the charismatic movement in the Roman Catholic Church. As a consequence he was heard by Pope John Paul II and was given permission to continue his healing sessions in Italy where he became a celebrity and had the support of large groups of young people.

  • Archbishop Emmanuel Milingo Your
LETTER FROM CARD. RE Congragatio Pro Episcopis Vaticano November 27, 2006 Prot. N. 519/1988 To: Archbishop Emmanuel Milingo Your Excellency, The Holy Father has received your letter of the 10th and 23rd October last which Your Excellency had sent to him, wherein on one hand you show a desire to preserve filial affection towards him and to preserve the unity of the Church of Christ; on the other hand, however, you contradict this same proposal, as you silently pass going into the excommunication Latae Sententiae preserved to the Holy See as foreseen in Canon 1382 C.I.C, as you consecrated four bishops on 24th of September, 2006. His Holiness, who has suffered and still suffers with your comportment with the initiative against the discipline and the ecclesial communion which you carried out in the last June, has ordered me to plead with you not to continue any further with ordination of priests and bishops which you have planned. You are well aware that such ordinations are seriously illicit and illegitimate, they will never be accepted by the Church, and will therefore do a lot of harm to the Church and profoundly so to the People of God. At the same time you are aware that such actions will render you responsible before God loaded with such a grave sin, which will cut you away from the Church, and of course excommunication. One day each one of us will have to render account before God for such actions which will be judged according to the truth. Forming the association of Married priests Now! Prelature, which you have founded is against the Will of Christ and is as well against the Church, which does not approve of it and will never found such an association.

    N. 0459 Giovedì 23.08.2001 DICHIARAZIONE DELL’ARCIVESCOVO DI WASHINGTON, EM.MO CARD. THEODORE E. McCARRICK DICHIARAZIONE DELL’ARCIVESCOVO DI WASHINGTON, EM.MO CARD. Emmanuel Milingo. Questa la dichiarazione del Card. McCarrick: Our hearts are troubled by the pain which Maria Sung undoubtedly feels at this difficult time in her life. While she may believe she is doing the right thing, in all likelihood her actions are the result of a process of psychological pressure and unrealistic reasoning. The truth is the ceremony that was conducted by Reverend Moon has no real connection with true marriage and even less with Christian marriage. It was based on a belief in the divine mission of Mr. Moon and not on the Divinity of Jesus Christ. Yet, it is this divinity that gives the true sacramental character to Christian marriage. We who profess our belief in the essential and permanent character of the sacrament of matrimony also believe with equal conviction in the sacrament of Holy Orders, by which a man, be he priest or bishop, is bound by the grave bonds of his promises of celibacy and fidelity that he freely professed at ordination. These are very serious elements of a priest’s vocation, even more so when that priest is a bishop. They are not to be taken lightly.

Now if you understand, by the term “magic,” the Church's definition of “the art of performing actions beyond the power of man with the aid of powers other than the Divine,”2 then such an act would indeed be sinful. If that were all there is to magic, then we could clearly end the discussion here and now; there would be no need for writing this book, would there? So – and just as obviously – there has to be more to the idea of magic not only in general, but also of import to a Catholic mentality. To do this, let’s start by looking at where the word “magic” comes from, and what caused the Church to react against it so strongly during the course of history. HISTORY: PART I Again referring to the Catholic Encyclopedia, the word “magic” comes to us from the Sumerian or word Turanian imga, which means ‘deep’ or “profound,” and was used to refer to a class of Proto-Chaldean wizard-priests.
