Barcelona, futbol, historia, Liga de CampeonesUEFA Date : 1 febrero 2020 Participantes: España, Inglaterra, que pasaba a segunda posición, e Italia seguían siendo las tres ligas más potentes y en consecuencia colocaban sus cuatro mejores equipos en la competición. Alemania y Francia les seguían y recuperaba la sexta posición Portugal, con lo que también tendría un tercer representante, en detrimento de Grecia, que bajaba al séptimo puesto. Los campeones de Holanda y Turquía conservaban su plaza directa en la fase de grupos, junto con el de Chequia, que desplazaba al de Escocia, que ya tendría que competir en la tercera ronda preliminar. Atendiendo al rendimiento de cada equipo en los últimos cinco años el Real Madrid partía con el 1 / 95 Cuadernos de Fútbol Revista de CIHEFE https://www.cihefe.es/cuadernosdefutbol coeficiente más alto y era considerado el máximo favorito para ganar la competición. Le seguía el subcampeón de la edición anterior, el AC Milan, y en tercera posición el FC Barcelona. El vigente campeón, el Liverpool tenía el cuarto mejor promedio sin embargo no tuvo acceso directo a la fase de grupos y tuvo que empezar la competición desde la primera eliminatoria previa. Todo se debió a su clasificación en la Premier, donde quedó quinto. Teóricamente el ranking quinquenal de la UEFA otorgaba el derecho a participar a los cuatro primeros clasificados del campeonato inglés. Algo parecido había ocurrido con el Real Madrid en la temporada 2000/01 en la que los blancos desplazaron al Real Zaragoza, cuarto en la Liga, y de igual manera ahora la UEFA anunciaba que el Everton FC debería disputar la Copa de la UEFA. Entonces la Federación Inglesa supo jugar sus bazas haciendo cumplir el reglamento de la competición: las cuatro plazas estaban asignadas antes de comenzar la temporada, por lo que jugar la Liga de Campeones era un derecho ganado por el Everton FC al clasificarse en cuarta posición. También el Liverpool había ganado su derecho a revalidar el título como figuraba en las bases de la propia competición europea. Esto obligó a la UEFA a aceptar un quinto equipo inglés. Como los cuatro primeros sí estaban previstos (dos en la fase de grupos y los otros dos en la tercera eliminatoria), la mejor manera de hacer un hueco al Liverpool FC era hacerle competir desde la primera ronda preliminar, ajustándose así el número de eliminatorias para llegar a las dieciséis decisivas de la tercera ronda. El Real Madrid marcaba el récord de participaciones en la Copa de Europa con 36. Le seguían con 27 el Benfica; con 25 Celtic Glasgow y CSKA de Sofia y con 24 la Juventus, Ajax y Anderlecht. El campeón de Kazajistán volvía a participar en la primera ronda eliminatoria, mientras que Andorra y San Marino seguían sin tener representantes. Junto a Real Madrid y Barcelona, los dos fijos españoles, debutaban en la máxima competición europea Villarreal CF y Real Betis Balompié de Sevilla. Los dieciséis clasificados disputarían las eliminatorias directas a doble partido hasta la final que se decidía a un juego. En caso de empate se disputaba prórroga en el segundo partido y de persistir la igualada, el mayor número de goles en campo contrario era el primer referente para dar el equipo clasificado y en su defecto el vencedor de la tanda de penaltis. La inclusión del Liverpool, junto con la vuelta del representante kazajo hizo que en la primera ronda preliminar se montaran 12 eliminatorias directas, por diez que había habido en las ediciones anteriores. Otra modificación llegó a la hora del sorteo de la tercera ronda preliminar ya que aún no estaba resuelta la segunda. Entonces se decidió que para organizar los dos bombos los clubs se ordenaran por sus respectivos coeficientes tomándose el mayor de los dos contendientes de cada eliminatoria a falta del resultado de la segunda ronda.

E proprio nel settore giovanile bergamasco ha maturato le prime esperienze da allenatore Cesare Prandelli che ha, dato prestigioso ma non fondamentale, vinto tutto con i giovani nerazzurri (scudetto con allievi e primavera, torneo di Viareggio nel 93) e che nel proseguo della sua carriera da allenatore di 1° squadra ha valorizzato e lanciato definitivamente ad altissimi livelli campioni divenuti popolarissimi come Frey, Mutu, Adriano, Gilardino, Montolivo, Kuzmanovic. Per tutte queste ragioni ci siamo rivolti proprio a Prandelli che, con la disponibilità e le signorilità che lo contraddistingue da sempre, ci ha concesso una intervista nella quale approfondire gli aspetti legati all’acquisizione, allo sviluppo ed al perfezionamento delle abilità individuali nel settore giovanile.

    TEMPORADA 2000/2001 PRESENTACIÓN Es imprescindible que empiece la presentación de esta memoria correspondiente a la tempora- da 2000 / 2001 con un emocionado recuerdo a D. Antonio Baró Armengol, a cuyo cargo estuvo el mando del fútbol profesional español en estos últimos catorce años, en los cuales hemos vivido un extraordinario desarrollo de nuestra actividad y hemos asistido al éxito de nuestros clubes y S.A.D. en el concierto internacional. Su talante comprensivo y negociador han marcado una lí- nea a la que no podemos ni queremos renunciar, siempre con el reto de mejorar las condiciones en las que se desenvuelve nuestra función. La sucesión de Antonio Baró significa- ba, también, un momento decisivo para la Liga Nacional de Fútbol Pro- fesional que no había vivido ningunas elecciones a lo largo de su historia. Se trataba de mantener la unidad entre todos los clubes y dar un paso al fren- te hacia los nuevos tiempos, con una organización avanzada, eficaz y preparada para dejar oír su voz en los nuevos escenarios que se plantean en el nuevo siglo. Por ello, la mayoría de nuestros clubes y S.A.D. apostaron por una presidencia profesional y a plena dedicación que supone todo un reto personal y una gran ilusión para mí y para mi equipo. Con ese orgullo y esa ilusión nos hemos puesto a trabajar inmediatamente porque el tiempo apre- mia y la LFP quiere seguir siendo el referente del fútbol profesional europeo, una cotización que 4 nos hemos ganado a pulso en estos últimos años, tión, de manera que ninguna amenaza enturbie tanto en el terreno de juego como en los campos el trabajo bien hecho.

'Early goal' The Greek champions begin their Group F campaign at home to Rosenborg BK on Tuesday with coach Trond Sollied calling on his side to make an early impression ahead of likely tougher tests against Real Madrid CF and Olympique Lyonnais. "There are 18 points up for grabs in the group and we must take as many as we can from each match," said Sollied, a former Rosenborg coach and player whose last experience of Champions League football was at the helm of Club Brugge KV. "If we can get an early goal [on Tuesday] it will certainly boost our chances." False dawns Olympiacos are well used to false dawns in Europe, although they were unlucky not to advance with their tally of ten points in Group A last season. At half-time on Matchday 6 they led Liverpool FC 1-0, and were still on course for the first knockout round at 2-1 down with four minutes to play when Steven Gerrard struck a stunning winner to propel the English team towards the next stage (and eventual glory) and the Piraeus outfit into the UEFA Cup.

    Release list of up to 30 players Each association’s release list of up to 30 players was received by 11 May 2010 as per article 26 of the Regulations for the 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa™. Mandatory rest period for players on the release list is from 17-23 May 2010 (except players involved in the UEFA Champions League final on 22 May). Each association must send FIFA a final list of no more than 23 players by 24.00 CET on 1 June 2010. Final list is limited to players on the release list submitted on 11 May 2010. Final list of 23 players will be published on FIFA.com at 12.00 CET on 4 June. Injured players may be replaced up to 24 hours before a team’s first match. Replacement players are not limited to the release list of up to 30 players. Both are among the seven clubs who have opened their campaign with maximum points from two matches and the Group F table might suggest that they hold a comfortable advantage over their adversaries. However, while the two former champions are trying to take points from each other, the other Group F participants will be trying to make up ground and mount a serious challenge to the favourites. The fans are promised two epic confrontations between two of Europe’s most experienced campaigners and this match will be a special occasion for Frank Rijkaard, who after a successful playing career with AC Milan, returns to the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza as the head coach of FC Barcelona. Bearing in mind that the two clubs have jointly played 635 European matches and 301 in the continent’s premier competition, it’s surprising that they’ve met only four times and that they had a spell of 30 years from 1959 to 1989 without crossing paths. In the UEFA Champions League, this is only the second time that they have met on a home-and-away basis apart from the 1994 final in Athens, when Fabio Capello’s AC Milan beat Johan Cruyff’s FC Barcelona 4-0.
