On 08/04/2019 at 05:14 hours, Officer Beavers #975 (61114) reported a memo at 7987 E Brainerd Rd. Upon arrival I located a w/m asleep on the sidewalk near the drive through window. I identified the male as Cory Elliott. Mr. Elliott was checked for warrants. No warrants were located and Mr. Elliott was asked to be on his way per the complainant. Mr. Elliott complied. No further police action needed.

On 08/04/2019 at 11:47 hours, Officer J. Billingsley (79518) responded to a Damaged Property Accidental at 18200 I-24 wb. Upon arrival, complainant Lora Daniel informed me she was traveling west, down the ridge cut, near 18200 I-24 WB when a loose tire collided with the driver's side of her vehicle. Ms. Daniel informed me she did not know where the tire came from. I observed damage to the front driver's side of the vehicle. Ms. Daniel estimated the cost of repair to be $2,000 to $3,000. Nothing further.

On 08/04/2019 at 12:21hours, Officer K.Downs (68391) reported a memo at 2101Oak St.

Upon arrival I spoke with the complainant, Chole Barker, who stated that she came back to her house after staying with a friend and all of her belongings were in the common area of the home and the lock to her room had been changed. She had mentioned to her landlord that she will probably move out in August, but did not give an exact date. Chole stated that she did not sign any papers for a lease, but that she and John Schanley were under a verbal agreement. Barker stated that she had no set date when she planned on moving out, but she came home and everything was moved out.

I spoke with John Schanley who stated that he is Barkers landlord and she told him she would move out in August so he said he found another renter and moved Barkers belongings out of the room. Schanley also stated that he is subleasing all the rooms and he is not the owner of the building.

Barker had been paying rent for each month she stayed there and also put down a deposit that Schanley would not give back to her.

Schanley did not take any legal precautions on trying to remove Barker and decided to take it upon himeself to remove her.

On 08/04/2019 at 18:45 hours, Officer Luke Simon 971responded to a vehicle fire at 825 Runyan Dr. Upon arrival officers observed the Chattanooga Fire Department personnel working hard to put out the fire which occurred in the engine compartment. On scene officers spoke with the owner of the vehicle Mary Christenson who did not know what could have caused the fire. At this time it is not known what caused the fire. The vehicle remained on private property to await a private tow truck.

Upon arrival I made contact with the store clerk, Nirmal Patel. Patel stated he was showing the person the video and during that time the party left. I watched the video from the gas station, the phone was not stolen, the party left it on the roof of the car and drove off with it on the roof. I was not able to make contact with the party at this time.

On 08/04/2019 at approximately 23:15 hours, Officer Michael Estock (82259) responded to a suspicious person at 289 W 6th St. Upon arrival officers observed Mr. Clayton Streeval sleeping in the stairwell of the parking garage. Officers woke Mr. Streeval and informed him that he could not be sleeping here. Mr. Streeval stated that he just recently moved back to Chattanooga and would stay with a "friend" at Patton Towers located at 1 E 11th St. Mr. Steeval stated that his friend was out of town currently on a fishing trip which is why he was sleeping in a stairwell. On 08/05/2019 at 04:20 hours, Officer J Vasquez (79542) spoke by phone with the complainant Mrs. Christy Herrmann who is the front desk clerk at the Quality inn 7015 Shallowford Rd. Mrs. Herrmann stated she observed 2 white males stealing a generator from the parking lot of the Staybridge Hotel. Mrs. Herrmann said 2 trucks pulled up at the Staybridge parking lot and back into a parking spot where 2 white males wearing black shirt and khaki pants load up a generator into their truck with a TN tag of . Mrs. Herrmann said when the suspects noticed she was looking at them they got in their vehicles and sped out of the parking lot. At this time there's no victim to report further.

On 08/05/2019 at 09:35 hours, I, Officer Nelson (66968) responded to a False Pretenses/Swindle/Confidence Game at HEATEC 5200 Wilson Rd. Upon arrival, I spoke to Ms. Kasey Hobbs, who is the Controller of HEATEC. Ms. Hobbs stated that on May 23rd and on July 23rd of this year they recieved two separate emails with changes of payroll accounts. Ms. Hobbs stated that on both occasions they recieved emails with names and account information, attempting to have the employees payroll rerouted to an account that was not the actually employees account. On May 23rd, they recieved an email from a Mathew Varnell ([email protected]) asking for a change in account payroll. They caught the account prior to changing any account settings, so money was not sent. Account: Routing: American Express National Bank On July 23rd, an email was sent from an email of stating that they were Bryan Eley and also asking for payroll to be changed to a new account. An email was sent back with a form to be filled out and asking for a check. The form and a check from American Express was sent back stating to be Bryan Eley. I spoke to Mr. Eley, who stated that he recieved a paper check instead of his salary being deposited into his account and that is what caused him to speak with Ms. Hobbs concerning the fake account. Account: Routing: American Express National Bank Ms. Hobbs stated that the business has a security feature to not send any money prior to speaking to the employee, so in both cases no money was obtained through either account. Ms. Hobbs stated at this time she just wanted to make police aware of the situation in case it was happening at other business or if it were an employee of HEATTEC. I called American Express and attempted to gather the information from the accounts, but was told the information could only be obtained through a subpoena. The window was valued at approximately $50. She explained that it happened sometime between 8:30 am and 9:30 am this morning. Nothing else was damaged. Mary does not have suspect information. There is nothing further at this time.

On 08/05/2019 at 10:40 hours, Officer Hamilton (66984) responded to a Other Larceny/Access Device at 2128 Gunbarrel Rd. Victim called in from Atlanta stating that she had approx. $400 worth of funds used at various locations around the Chattanooga area. She said that on 7/11/19 at approx. 1100 hrs she deposited a check at the Regions Bank on Gunbarrel Rd. Ms. Jospeh said that after attempting an online amazon purchase she noticed that her debit card kept being declined. She said that she review her online banking account and noticed that her debit card had been used at various locations around Chattanooga. Ms. Joseph was not able to provide any of the locations were her card was used but said that it was "multiple" locations. She said that she needed a police report for Regions Bank and has requested a follow up call from a fraud investigator. she also said that she will call back in at a later time to give us the card number that was used. There is nothing further to report at thsi time.

On 08/05/2019 at 11:00 hours, Officer Sanchez (73514) responded to a Other Theft/Non-Specific at 1205 E 34th St. Upon arrival I spoke with the complainant, Benancio Vasquez who explained that an unknown vehicle full of unknown people came onto his property and stole his Craftsman weed eater (valued at $200), and two gas cans (valued at 15$) from his front yard. This occurred at an early time in the morning. Benancio explained that the individuals then got into a four-door vehicle and drove away south towards Georgia. There is no further suspect information. Nothing further.

Upon arrival complainant (Sarah Rogers) met with officers in reference to someone fraudulently using her Credit card information. Complainant stated there were two transactions made at Burlington on 07172019 at 1928 hrs totaling $26.18 and 1932 hrs totaling $80.17 for a combined total of $106.35. Officers observed three unknown black females on Burlington surveillance and the female in the all grey swiped a credit card to complete the transactions. Complainant stated she has her card and is unaware of how her information was obtained. At this time there is no further information available.

Stefeney (security) stated to police that there were several parties parked on Walmart property that they wanted to leave. Police spoke with Tonya McKee who drove a blue Saturn. She stated that she had pulled over into the shade to rest awhile but police found a panhandling sign on her car. Police told her that she would have to move on and come back another time. Next, police spoke with Fred Sanders who was asked to leave by Walmart. Fred was jumping off his vehicle and stated that he would not be back. Both parties had negative warrants.

John Hart stated that he was traveling on Airport Rd. when a lawnmower kicked up a rock and it struck his vehicle. Paul Brown with Public Works stated that he was mowing and Mr. Hart pulled up and stated that a rock hit his vehicle. Mr. Brown stated that he could not hear anything inside the cab of the tractor. Mr. Brown stated that he was unaware that this incident took place. Mr. Hart had a dent and scratch to the front left of his truck above the headlight. Mr. Brown was driving tractor # WM415M. Police found Mr. Ryan Ladd in the area, who stated that he was in a room with several other parties and they all got kicked out of the room and sent off the property for violating the motel occupancy policy. Mr. Ladd also told police that he just recently got out of prison, and is currently on parole. Police checked Mr. Ladd for warrants. No further police action required at this time.

Mr. Caraball stated, a silver sedan with a lot of damage and occupied by four white males, has been driving passed his residence several times. Mr. Caraball stated they were slowly driving by while his wife was getting home. Mr. Caraball stated they went around the block several times.

The only information she was able to give me was that it was a 2000 GS300 Lexus silver in color. The complainant was not able to give anything else on the vehicle. I informed her to call us back once she was able to get the vin of the vehicle so that it could be added as stolen. The complainant stated that she had pawned the title and so she would have to call the title company that she pawned it to in the morning. Nothing else follows at this time.

On 08/06/2019 at 08:57 hours, Officer Pierre (79879) reported a memo at 2503 Kirby Ave. Police was dispatched to investigate a vehicle that had potentially been abandoned at the above address. Police ran the vehicle's plate and confirmed that it was not stolen. Police visually verified that, while the car was parked off the right side of the residence's mailbox, it was not obscuring the mailbox in any way. The vehicle is not illegally parked. Police did not have any 'orange tow stickers' at the time and were unable to locate any. This report is for documentation purposes should the anonymous reporting party call back in stating that the vehicle stil has not been moved. No further at this time.

On 08/06/2019 at 09:26 hours, PIT McMahan (61444) responded to a Theft from Motor Vehicle at 7477 Commons Blvd at the victim's home. The victim said that he left his truck parked at home last night and he last saw it around 8 pm. He said that his truck has a camper top on it and left the camper door unlocked with a bag full of medical supplies (implants) inside the camper. However, he left the cab of the truck locked. The truck stayed there overnight and this morning around 6:30 am, he discovered that the bag was gone. He said that he has no idea who did this and there are no video cameras there that he is aware of. This report was taken by phone.

On 08/06/2019 at 09:26 hours, I, Ofc. Gunn 351, responded to a call of a Miscellaneous Complaint at 5487 Dayton Blvd. Upon arrival, I spoke with Sharon Abernathy. Ms. Abernathy was very unclear in what she told me. None of what she told me made sense. At one point, she stated that she needed to make a Vandalism report, however, she was unable to show me what was damaged. After speaking about many things that did not make sense, Ms. Abernathy told me that her kitchen table was the item of hers that was damaged. She then showed me two small pieces of glass that were near her trash can. She informed me that those pieces of glass were the kitchen table as a whole. I spoke with Tim Gossett by telephone. He says that on Sunday 04 Aug. 2019, while at the Sports Barn, an unknown party broke out the right side rear window of his 2015 BMW and stole his gym bag and its contents.

Mr. Gossett says that his vehicle is in the shop and cannot tell me the license plate number of it.

On 08/06/2019 at 10:02 hours, Officer Stansberry (61910) responded to a MVT/Passenger Vehicle at 7209 Bonny Oaks Dr. Complainant stated she tried to report her vehicle stolen yesterday at approximately 2130 hrs, (19-077251) however she did not have the tag or Vin number to complete the auto theft report. Complainant obtained the vehicle information and the vehicle was entered into NCIC under V321319924 this date at 1053 hrs. Complainant stated she was at the Speedway service station on 08052019 at approximately 1600 hrs and noticed the daughter of an old college friend sitting outside the doors crying. Complainant stated she offered a ride to the girl she knows only as Hailey and her unknown boyfriend. The three parties went across the street to the complainants home. Complainant stated she left the kitchen area and when she returned, the parties were gone along with her pocketbook and vehicle. At this time there is no further information regarding leads, witnesses, or suspects. A bolo was broadcast on all three channels regarding the vehicle.

I spoke with Lon Cartwright by telephone. He says over the past 6 or 7 weeks unknown party has stolen two flags off of his 2001 Pontiac Montana van. He says the first was a Georgia School flag and the second was a Buffalo Bill flag. He says he bought them at a thrift store and paid $2 or $3 each for them.

On 08/06/2019 at 13:45 hours, Officer Hans Anderson (75367) reported a memo at 22 Pisgah Ave. Police responded to 22 Pisgah Ave after a call from an anonymous party about an unconscious male asleep in the grass on this property. Upon arrival, police found the subject, Zachery Griffith, on scene, asleep in the grass wearing some very small shorts and a torn tanktop. Mr. Griffith responded when awoken, and police noticed that he smelled heavily of an intoxicating substance, but did not appear intoxicated at the time. Mr. Griffith stated that he is staying in Room 310 of the Motel 6 at 5505 Brainerd Rd. Mr. Griffith was negative for warrants at this time, and did not need police or EMS assistance.

I made contact with the complainant, Ms. Mykia Turner, who was in apartment #2 who stated that her upstairs neighbor was playing loud music which is becoming an on going issue. On 08/07/2019 at 04:30 hours, Officer T. Perocchi (79535) responded to suspicious activity at 7020 E Brainerd Road, the Circle K gas station. Police met with Britany Kelley who explained there was someone who came into the gas station behaving suspiciously. Kelley stated it was a white male, about five and a half feet tall, thin build and was wearing dark clothing. She also said this person frequents her store between 03:00 and 04:00. She explained after he bought a drink from inside the store he left his gray Jeep with no tag in front of the store but walked across the road and sat in the grass. When she went out to inspect the vehicle, the man got upset with her and told her not to touch his vehicle, which prompted her to call police. After she called police, the vehicle left going east on East Brainered Road. Kelley was very upset with police that they did not respond faster than they did. Police explained to her low priority calls do want warrant police to run with emergency equipment and they still need to obey all traffic laws while responding. Police put the gas station on the watch list and noted for extra patrol in the area between 03:00 and 04:00 in the event the individual returned and made her feel uncomfortable in the future.

Police searched the area for the unknown male, but was unable to locate anyone matching the description. Police located the owner of moving truck, Mr. Zamora who stated he let a unknown black male sleep in the back of his company's moving truck. Mr. Zamora stated he did not know the black male and that he was a friend of his sons. Police informed Ms. Weber that the male was not located in the area and to call back if he returns to the location. No further.

Brenda stated that they recently had to terminate an employee by the name of William Jones. Apparently, William was driving the fork lift too fast and had been warned on several occasions to slow down. Brenda stated that William had called their office and made a racial statement saying that the blacks were treated different in the workplace. He stated that he wanted to do away with the racism, and named (3) individuals as Eric Mathis, Tomika Dean, and Robbie Shropshire. William never directly stated that he was going to harm anyone but it can only be speculated as what he meant by the above statement. William also stated that he knew powerful people and he was contacting his attorney. Wrigley's stated that they just wanted police to be aware of the circumstances and needed the incident documented. Police contacted Sgt. Lawson and made him aware of the situation, and also placed Wrigley's on the watch list. Police told Brenda to contact dispatch immediately if William arrived back on site.

Ms. Slaton stated that when she woke up she found her cell phone was taken. I then spoke with Dr. Jimmy Turner at the Community Kitchen who gave me access to their video cameras. I was able to observe around 1346hrs a unknown B/M wearing a red shirt, brown pants, and brown sandals sit down in front of Ms. Slaton. I was able to observe this male take her cell phone and exit the Community Kitchen. A BOLO was issued for this person and his photo will be disseminated for identification. No further. On 08/07/2019 at 15:55 hours, Officer D. Russell (63833) wrote a continuation/supplement for a Theft from Building at 727 E 11th St. On this date Ofc. Corbin made contact with a party matching the suspects description. Upon being mirandized the suspect, Mr. Beard, admitted to taking the phone and he gave the phone to police. I made contact with Ms. Slaton and returned her property to her. Ms. Slaton stated that since she recovered her phone she will not prosecute. He said that he then looked on the cameras and found that they were in the store also shoplifting. He said that a red Chevy Cruze with Tn was the vehicle that they arrived in and parked near the gas pumps. He said that two heavy set black females exited the vehicle and walk into the store. one of the females was wearing a black tank top and pants and the other was wearing a white tank top and shorts. Both females had a large purse with them. The female with the black tank top walked towards the cooler and picked up two Lunchables and a thing of cheese. She then walked down the drink aisle and placed the Lunchable and cheese in her purse. She then picked up a can of cheese dip on the shelf and placed it in her purse also. She then walks around to the candy aisle and selects some candy bars. While she is selecting these items the other female walks down the aisle beside her and selects large trash bags. She then walks over to the same aisle as the other female and also selects a thing of cheese dip. She then places both items in her purse and walks around the store again. Both females then walk down the candy aisle and select gum and other candy bars and place all of them in their purse. They then stop at the end of the aisle and look at the gummy worms. the female with the white tank top then selects five packs of gummy worms. The total amount that the females selected was worth 59 dollars. The manager stated that after they left that they took a right out of the parking lot and heading down Shallowford Rd. I was able to capture a picture of the suspects and sent them out to CPD sworn. The vehicle was also included in the photos with the tag number. At this time I do not have any further suspect information. No further.

He is known to police to squat at friends or families homes, or to create homeless camps in back yards of homes, causing residents to frequently call police. He stated he is currently living in the garage of his grandmother who is currently in a nursing home and he is watching over the residence but that he is currently locked out. He did not know the address of the house but did describe it. I located the residence at 254 Glendale Dr but could not make contact with a resident at that address. No further.

Police identified the person as David Nation who told police he laid down to take a rest and fell asleep. Police explained to Nation he cannot be obstructing the sidewalk with his person or his personal effects laid out on the sidewalk next to him. Nation collected his belongings and left without incident.

The website was able to cancel the purchase and his bank stated they required a report on this incident. Mr. Taylor provided contact information for the website. I then called and spoke to the Fraud Dept for Evine.com. They stated the suspect used Mr. Taylor's name and card number; however, the purchase was intended to be sent to an address in St Petersburg, FL. I contacted the St Petersburg, FL Police Dept and they had no suspect information for the address.

Police made contact with the landlord who was also on the scene. The landlord stated that the window was partially broken and the sharp edges were a safety hazard to the tenants. She stated that she broke the rest of the sharp edges out so no one would get cut. Mr. McCray says that Ebay was able to cancel one order, but the other two had already shipped. the $157.99 is scheduled for delivery on Monday 12 Aug. 2019 and the other scheduled for delivery on Tuesday 13 Aug. 2019.

He noticed two younger black males in the front yard of 4714 Midland Pike, as he approached he saw one of the kids raise a BB Gun gun towards his car. When this happened, his back passenger side glass shattered. He stopped his vehicle and jumped out. The two boys said it was another kid and they took off running towards N Moore Rd. Police could not locate the two boys. Green and Silver BB's were found in the yard. Mr. Smith told me that he seen the gun, but told other officers that he did not see a gun, he just heard his glass pop as it broke.

The work van was secure in a locked gated area around the parking lot. The van was filled with Miscellaneous tools and other electrical equipment. The suspect was seen on survellance camera at approximately 22:50 Hours on 2/2/2019, walking through the enclosed area of the parking lot. The suspect was wearing tall white socks with shorts, and looked to be a medium build white male. The suspect made entry inside the vehicle, and attempt to hot wire the vehicle by removing the steering column. The approximate value of damage done to the vehicle is $1000 dollars. Nothing was taken from the vehicle that the owner knows of. Nothing further.

On 08/08/2019 at 23:46 hours, Officer Goulet (83684) reported a memo at 1245 E 38th St. While on standard patrol, I was patrolling on East 38th Street when I noticed a black male laying on the grass with his feet in the road way. I then went over and tried to wake him up, he was not responding to my commands. The black male was breathing. I then called for EMT. While waiting on EMT to arrive on scene, I gave the black male a sternum rub. At first he was not reacting. I then lifted his eye lids, his eyes were rolling. I then gave him another sternum rub and he started to come around. It took about 5 minutes before the black male came around. I was then able to identify him as Mr. Ahmaad Davis. Mr. Davis was not to thrilled that I was there. Medics came on scene and checked Mr. Davis out on scene. Mr. Davis refused to go to the hospital. At this time he was talking fairly normal. Mr. Davis had a sober party show up and he placed if there care. Nothing further to report at this time.

Both have revoked driver licenses. Sims has an active warrant out of Walker County Georgia, non-extradition. They were both told to leave the area.

Upon arrival, I spoke with Stepanie Cooper who stated her girlfriend and she were involved in a verbal disagreement and now she is requesting police stand-by while her girlfriend gathers her belongings. While on the scene, Ms. Cooper stated her girlfriend had someone on the way to help her and she was getting multiple items. Both parties were separated and calm while I was on scene, therefore I felt there was no need for police to stay on the scene. Ms. Cooper agreed and stated she would call back if needed.

On 08/09/2019 at 11:04 hours, Officer Ricky Ballard (60157) responded to a Bad Checks at 1900 Stuart St. Upon arrival at Office Furniture Warehouse, I spoke with Ava Moore. Ms. Moore reported someone fraudulent cashed two of the company's check at Regions Bank in Collegedale. Ms. Moore stated the checks (Check #4482) where made out to a George William Hewitt Jr in the amount of $1,650.90 and (Check # 4495) in the amount of $1,760.32. Both checks had a single fingerprint from the person cashing the checks that was required by the bank. Ms. Moore stated a third check was attempted to be cashed at Regions Bank in East Ridge, however, according to the bank tellers, the suspect became nervous after several questions about the check and left. Ms. Moore reported they are working with Regions Bank to red flag the company's check at this time. Ms. Moore also stated the suspect was capture on the bank security camera, which they will be receiving a copy of. At this time there is no further information available.

Officer met with the complainant, Mr. Tedarrell Brady, who stated that he needed to pick up his belongings from his ex-girlfriend, Ms. Janiah Elliott, due to her filing a restraining order against him. Officer Van Ness met Ms. Elliot's mother, Ms. Annette Reese, at 3404 4th Ave. and she had some belongings that were supposed to be given to Mr. Brady. Mr. Brady arrived on the scene and stated that he needed to go to East Ridge and pick up the rest of his belongings. Officer Van Ness spoke with Ms. Elliott via cell phone and she stated that he would be able to come around 1500 hours on Sunday (8-11-2019). Mr. Brady did not like that answer and demanded that she leave work to get his belongings. Officer Van Ness tried to explain to Mr. Brady that Police cannot make her leave her job so that Mr. Brady can get his belongings at this very moment. Cain's wrecker driver Sigfrid Muina was driving a company wrecker truck when he rolled off the edge of the road into the ditch so that two wheels were on the roadway on Ely Rd, and two wheels were stuck in the ditch. Sigfrid called a private tow, Mostellers, who responded to tow Cain's tow truck from out of the ditch. Police served as traffic control. Cain's wrecker service did not wish for an accident report. The Cain's tow truck vehicle involved in the accident is as follows. 2012 Ford F650, (VIN: 3FRWF6FC3CV4419391), (License ), (Vehicle registration expiration: 01/31/2020), (Insurance Provider: Central Carolina Insurance, Policy# BAP9947537). No obvious damage observed on Vehicle from initial inspection but with possible undercarriage damage due to resting on road corner. No further police action taken as per Cain's request.

Upon arrival, police met with complainant, Mr. Tyler Stansell, who stated that at some point throughout the night that a trailer, which was US-101property, was stolen from their back parking lot. Mr. Stansell stated that the trailer was last seen at approximately 2000 hours on 8/8/2019, and when he and coworkers arrived to work the following day, it was gone. Mr. Stansell stated that anyone has access to their back parking lot and stated that there is a gate, but it never gets closed. Mr. Stansell stated that they could possibly get video footage and would call back in with that information when it was available and that there was nothing inside of the trailer. I spoke with Jimmie McArthur by phone. He says that on 08/05/2019 and 08/06/2019 an unknown party made four(4) charges using his Capital One Master Card information at Sam's Club at the aforementioned address.

Mr. McArthur listed the charges as follows: 08/05 $2078.98 08/06 $2103.75 08/06 $2182.19 08/06 $2202.19

Total of charges $8565.11.

Mr. McArthur says that two weeks ago he got a letter about him requesting another card which he did not request. He says he contacted Capital One who told him to jsut throw the second card away. Upon arrival, I met with the complainant Ms. Karen Reece, who stated she had accidentally left her vehicle unlocked and someone went inside and stole her work tablet. The tablet was a black Samsung Galaxy tablet 7". The tablet had numerous clients personal info in it. The tablet belongs to her employer, TN Home Health. The tablet is estimated at $200 in value. No suspect info at this time. The time of occurrence was between 1800-1900hrs. No further at this time.

Mr. Snyder stated that his neighbors have stated that Mr. Snyder keeps showing up the property even though he has been evicted. Bryant (79858) reported a memo at 975 E 3rd St. Police received a phone call from complainant Linda Lewis who stated Dana Vogel messaged her via text message about her ex boyfriend being suicidal. Lewis stated, Vogel said her ex would not let her leave. Vogel gave the address of 2525 CEDARTON CT. Police pinged the phone several times and discovered Vogel's statement about her location did not match up with the ping of the phone. Police could tell Vogel was mobile due to the different locations of the cell phone ping. Police continued to talk with Lewis in which it became clear Vogal did want to leave her ex because she was afraid he might harm himself. The ex did not hold Vogel against her will. Police concluded Vogel was not in danger but simply chose to stay with her ex who maybe suicidal. No further. The security guard also stated the male party was rolling marijuana cigarettes in front of the bar. Police met with Jessica Clark who told police an older black female came to the front of the store where her co-worker Quentin White was and started the disorder. White told police he knew the woman as her friend's mother and she was very upset over an argument White and her son had. Clark told the woman to leave and she would not, prompting her to call police. Once she had called police, the woman left before police arrival. White did not know the womans name, only her relation to his friend whom he argued with a couple months prior. Clark and White wanted this incident documented in the event it happens again or escalates because the woman is a frequent third shift customer and White works third shift.

One of them was the license plate (Tn and according to DMV files it was already entered into NCIC under Nic# P566972206. He provided a written list of the items and it was entered into Investigative Documents.

Of these not on scene/rejected items was a king size mattress and box spring that Mr. Wilkerson did not wish to take due to them being rained on and ruined. Mr. Wilkerson also rejected a deep freezer that he no longer wished to have. Mr. Wilkerson was also supposed to obtain a queen size mattress and box spring, as well as a 65" and 60" T.V., none of which was on scene. Mrs. Bonney said that after her and her husband left the Best Western on Lee Hwy, note: they were an hour west of Chattanooga, she notcied that her purse was gone. Mrs. Bonney said that she thought she left the purse in her hotel room at the Best Western. I spoke with the hotel manager, Paul Watson, and he said he and his house keeping manager looked for the purse and were unable to locate it in the room nor was anything turned in to lost and found. Mrs. Bonney also said that her wallet contained money and credit cards but she did not have any of that information. Pending further information from the victim, or location of the purse, there is nothing further to report at this time.

While patrolling the area, police noticed a vehicle parked at 2124 Shepard Road, the Shepard Community Center. City parks are closed at this time of the night and police investigated to ensure no one was using the park after hours. No one was found around the vehicle, police ran the VIN and discovered the vehicle was stolen. Police dispatch called the owner of the Kia dealership it was stolen from and notified them it was recovered and it was towed by Don Yates Wrecker service. The vehicle was also removed from NCIC.

Ms. Katz stated she was shopping inside of DSW Shoes store for about 15 minutes around 1400hrs. When she came out to her vehicle, she saw that her driver side door window was busted out. Nothing was taken from within the vehicle and there is no suspect info at this time. There are no cameras on this side of the building. The estimated cost of repair, replacement, and tint would be around $1000. No further at this time.

The vehicle came back as stolen. NCIC operator contacted the owner. The owner arrived on scene and had the vehicle towed from the location. On 08/11/2019 at 10:20 hours, Officer Sanchez (73514) responded to a Damaged Property Accidental at 4017 13th Ave. Upon arrival I spoke with the complainant, Brenda Jones who explained that when she came to drive her vehicle this morning she found a large dent in the passenger door of her Kia FLX (TN . The vehicle was parked alongside the road in front of her house, and the last time she saw the car without the damage was the previous night at approximately 2200 hours. Brenda does not have suspect information, and does not know what caused the damage. There is nothing further.

The complainant is an employee there and he said that it was reported to him yesterday around 3:40 pm that the license plate had been lost off one of the company semi-trailers. He said that the plate was last seen still on the trailer the day before (8/10/19), probably about the same time. It is unknown what happened to the plate. On 08/12/2019 at 11:48 hours, I, Ofc. Gunn 351, responded to a call of a Theft at 5221Hixson Pike, Buddy's Shoe Repair. Upon arrival, I spoke with Jesse Stevens. Mr. Stevens stated that he left his car doors unlocked in the parking lot of Buddy's Shoe Repair in between Saturday at 1700 and yesterday at 0900 hours. During that time, an unknown suspect got into Mr. Steven's vehicle and took his prescription pain pills. Also in that same time frame, an unknown suspect broke Terry Cosee's driver's side window of his pick-up truck (also parked in Buddy's Shoe Repair parking lot). Mr. Cosee informed me that nothing was taken. Nothing further.

On 08/13/2019 at 08:07 hours, PIT McMahan (61444) responded to a Theft of Vehicle Parts/Accessories at 4314 Rossville Blvd at Red's Auto Sales. The victim said that he last saw the Temporary Drive-out Tag on his vehicle when he took it there for repairs last Saturday (8/10/19) around 7 or 8 pm. The vehicle stayed there since that time and when he got back there yesterday (8/12/19) around 8 or 9 am, he discovered that the tag (plate) was gone. He said that the owner there said someone must have stolen it. He doesn't think the tag had a number of any kind on it. Vehicle Info: 2008 Chrysler Sebring, white in color. On 08/14/2019 at 09:35 hours, PIT McMahan (61444) responded to a Theft from Motor Vehicle at 617 Castle Dr at the victim's home. The victim said that he last remembers having his gun (pistol) in his truck last Thursday or Friday at around 7 or 8 pm. Since then, the truck has stayed parked there and on Sunday (8/11/19) at around 8 am, he discovered that he could not find the gun. He said that it's possible he could have gotten the gun back out of the truck and then misplaced it somehow but he's not sure. He said it could have been lost or stolen either one. The gun was entered into NCIC under Nic# G464793183. This report was taken by phone.

On 08/14/2019 at 13:20 hours, PIT McMahan (61444) responded to a Theft from Motor Vehicle at 980 Airport Rd at Carter Towing. The victim said that she was driving her friends car and she had parked it at a residence (510 Central Dr) overnight from last Friday night at about 9:45 pm until Saturday morning around 10 am. She said that she had left her purse in it and when she went back out to the car Saturday morning, the car was gone. She later found out that the car had been repossessed and had been taken to Carter Towing. She has since gone there and discovered that her purse was gone along with some other belongings. She said that the staff there claims to know nothing about the theft but she got her wallet back from them, which they said was retrieved from the car after it was brought in. She said that the wallet had been in the purse that was stolen. Car Info: 2018 Chevy Spark, gray in color. This report was taken in the PSC Lobby.

On 08/18/2019 at 16:00 hours, Officer Ampthor (73492) responded to an MVT/Passenger Vehicle at 2005 E 12th St. Police spoke with Mr. Myron Baker who stated his Lincoln Continental had been taken. The vehicle had been inside a garage at this location. During the time frame, the garage had been demolished and the vehicle was nowhere to be found. Mr. Baker had been working to repair the garage but had been having trouble getting hold of a Mr. Chapman he was directed to. Mr. Baker did not know and vehicle information at this time. There is no suspect information.

On 08/21/2019 at 11:42 hours, Officer Glenn (60757) responded to a Damaged Property Accidental at 975 E 3rd St.

I met with Larry Johnson at the PSC lobby. He says that on 05 August 2019, while his 2017 Mitsubishi was parked at Erlanger, an unknown vehicle hit it on the right side behind the front wheel.

Mr. Johnson says that this is a hit and run incident and has not information about who or what hit his vehicle.

Mr. Johnson is clear that the time limit to file an accident report has expired and understands that this is an accidental property damage report.
