Everyone on this earth faces the existential threat of nuclear weapons. It has been said that we now have the power to destroy everything God has created for us. For more than 70 years humankind has faced the Installation of public threat of a possibility of a nuclear exchange that would, literally, render this planet uninhabitable. Mission Project for 2018 PWP Annual Gathering Northside Neighborhood House 94 + 94 + 94!

The 2018 Mission Project is providing items for the pantry of Northside Neighborhood House. This non-profit was started by two women from Northside Presbyterian Church as a small neighborhood center and has grown to serve over 5,000 neighbors in need each year through direct assistance and educational programming. NNH celebrated its 94th anniversary of serving the community on February 14. To help celebrate, groups are encouraged to collect 94 items for the NNH on-site pantry.

Presbyterian Women can do better – our goal is to collect 94 + 94 + 94 items! These items help fulfill the immediate needs of NNH’s clients. Choose your donations from the list below; bring the items to the Annual Spring Gathering: Canned soups, vegetables and fruit Laundry soap (powder, pods or liquid) Toilet paper Baby wash, powder, lotion and wipes Toothpaste, dental floss and toothbrushes Sanitary napkins and pads
