MINUTEMAN ROTC SCHOLARSHIP THE ADJUTANT GENERAL or CIVILIAN AID TO THE SECRETARY OF THE ARMY NOMINATE SOLDIERS FOR A 2, 3, OR 4-YEAR GUARANTEED RESERVE FORCES DUTY (GRFD) SCHOLARSHIP MINIMUM ELIGIBILITY Be a US citizen Receive TAG/CASA endorsement Become Medically Qualified PMS Letter of Acceptance Currently serving or eligible to enlist into the Participating University Acceptance ARNG Commander's Recommendation (current ARNG) Complete SF86 for SECRET clearance Minimum 2.5 Cumulative GPA Pass a valid APFT Minimum 19 ACT or 1000 SAT In compliance with HT/WT standards PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS 3.5 CGPA National Honor Society 25 ACT or 1200 SAT Varsity Letter Winner 250 APFT Varsity Team Captain Athlete - 1 or more varsity sports Club Presidents Leader- DECA, FBLA, FFA, 4H, … JROTC Participants President of Student Body or Senior Class SCHOLARSHIP BENEFITS Full tuition and fees (uncapped) or room and board (capped at $10,000/year) Cadet stipend $420/month Book stipend $1,200/year Drill with ARNG unit as E-5/CDT $329/month Eligible ARNG members may be able to use GI-Bill/FTA and/or State Tuition Reimbursement (STR) PROCESS Applicants contact university Assistant Professor of Military Science (APMS) below ASAP to apply for Minuteman Endorsement Letter. APMS submit scholarship application with endorsement letter to 5th BDE, U.S Army Cadet Command (USACC) NLT 15 September 2020 for Fall semester scholarship start or 15 November 2020 for Spring semester scholarship start.
