What is Happening In Your Area Local officers from the Safer Neighbourhood Team, Neighbourhood Policing Team,

Response and officers from our Special Constabulary have had a busy and productive month in the Dereham and surrounding parishes. You asked for us to target drug misuse as a local Safer Neighbourhood Action Panel (SNAP) priority and we have had some very positive results on action we have taken against this issue. As Inspector Papworth refers to above, some £2000 of suspected Class A drugs were seized in a warrant carried out in the Dereham area, while your Beat Managers seized cannabis during a joint Housing Association visit to a property in the area. Alongside this proactive work, we have also carried out Speed Enforcement in and issued a Section 59 Police Reform Act warning to a driver of a vehicle in the town.
