We want to especially thank our audiences who have been with us throughout this journey. To open QSO’s 2017 performance season, and mark the commencement of our celebrations, QSO performs Wagner’s Tannhäuser Overture on Saturday 18 February under the baton of QSO Music Director Alondra de la Parra. This overture was the first work performed at the QSO’s inaugural concert in 1947.

In this first season, I have designed a diverse program sourced from many traditions and styles over several centuries. MAXIM There are treasures and delights throughout.
