Hi David,

As requested, please find below the responses to your queries:

Sagoe Lane to Middleborough Rd, • VicRoads has engaged Metro Trains Melbourne to project manage and delivery this section similar to Lindsey Street to Sagoe Lane. • Works are expected to commence in February and completed by April 2019.

Middleborough Rd to Laburnum Street, Laburnum Street to Blackburn Station. • VicRoads is still having issues negotiating the design with Council. • Regardless, VicRoads has engaged a consultant to prepare the detailed design and re- engage the Council once the design is completed.

The new street crossing of Springvale Rd, Nunawading, Alterations to the footpath in Walkers Rd, Nunawading. • VicRoads has engaged a contractor to deliver the works. • Works are expected to commence in February and completed by April 2019.

The situation regarding connections to the completed sections of the path at the lane between Harvey Norman. • My understanding is that the path backs onto private property at this location. • Due to legal liability concerns, VicRoads is unable to assist further in this matter. and at Richards St and McGlone St, Mitcham. • This is the first time I’m made aware of access concerns at these locations, my apologies. • Please advise MeBug’s concerns at these locations and advise what can be done to address the concerns. • From a quick look on googlemaps, I have a few observations: ◦ It appears that the path backs onto Council local roads. ◦ There are no bicycle facilities on Richard Street, McGlone Street or the connecting service road adjacent Whitehorse Road. • Based on my brief observations, any works in these locations will require Council’s approval and may be outside the scope of works for the project.

Also who is responsible for the provision of wayfaring signage. • Upon completion of the 10km path, VicRoads intends to review the route, develop the signage strategy and install the signs.

Kind Regards
