Box 452 Cornwall, New York 12518 3 PREFACE Bibliograpby of References for Intramurals and Recreational Sports was written to bring together in convenient fashion articles that relate the administration of programs in leisure services. It is the hope of the authors that the collected references will broaden the awareness of those turning to the 'literature for guidance and perspective for their particular purpose. The validity and utility of each entry in this text is in the eyes, of the beholder. The reader is encouraged to become acquainted with the text by browsing through both the body of this bibliography and the cross-index to help locate particular articles of interest. The references found within the articles will provide additional areas of assistance. The reader is encouraged to forward articles that have been overlooked. It is the authors intent to issue a supplement to this bibliography on a periodic basis. The authors have collected these materials over a period of twenty- five years. The basic listing is current through August, 1975. An arbitrary selection and indexing process was utilized for reasons of prudent expedience: It is hoped that a reasonably functional document willprovide a meaningful service to the intramural community. Appreciation is expressed to Liz Dean and several other assistants, too numerous to mention, who assisted iii the preparation of the manu- script.
