Additional Own transport is desirable . This is a three-year contract initially. We are primarily information looking for a teacher who can join the team from September, but there may be places available for January starters. The role We are looking for enthusiastic full and part-time time Qualified Teachers of the Deaf with substantial experience in working with children and young people with hearing impairment to join our multidisciplinary Outreach Service. This is a chance to work with outstanding colleagues to help shape a joined-up service that will promote inclusion through advice for mainstream school staff, children and their families.

As an outreach teacher you will support both mainstream Primary and Secondary schools to:

• offer tailored advice and support for staff working with students with hearing impairment

• provide whole school training and individual staff training covering best practice and the latest ideas and guidance.

• help with the creation of online training and guidance materials and videos.
