Puppy and Veteran Sweepstakes, Pee Wee Class Serves as the coordinator for the specialty committee, working with a team of volunteers to handle the various tasks associated with the specialty including: trophies, rosettes, buildings & grounds, hospitality, stewarding, paperwork, etc. Has NO contact with the judges before or during the specialty in the capacity of DSA Specialty Show Committee Chairperson. Is allowed to show his/her dogs at this specialty, as well as the families that he/she co-owns dogs or bred, unless the show chair falls into one or more of these categories as outlined in the AKC Rules, Policies and Guidelines for Conformation Dog Show Judges: 1. Co-owns dogs with the judge 3. Is related to the judge 2. Travels to dog shows with the judge 4. Is the employer or an employee of the judge Judges’ Liaison: Helen Hittesdorf DSA JUDGE’S LIAISON DUTIES: Is a voting member in good-standing with the club. Contacts the judges voted in by the membership, to obtain their judging contract terms and pass that information back to the specialty committee for review. If the terms are acceptable to the committee then: 1) Enters the judge’s name, contact information, assignment and terms into the standard DSA judges contract template, 2) Signs the contract on behalf of DSA, 3) Sends the contract to the judge for their acceptance, and 4) Provides a signed copy of the contract to the Denver Samoyed Association, Inc. specialty committee. Licensed by the American Kennel Club Is the single point of contact for the club, if the judge has any follow-up questions. Be the club host/greeter/club contact for the judge during the course of the show weekend.
