Miles of Hiking & Mountain Biking Terrain Big Sky Resort offers several miles of hiking and biking trails available right out of Mountain Village, with connections into the backcountry and beyond. Enjoy -serviced downhill mountain biking for all levels and abilities. This summer, bike carrier capacity will increase on Ramcharger 8 by 33 percent, as well as a 50 percent increase in bike capacity on Explorer. Both Ramcharger 8 and Explorer run daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Montana’s Highest Scenic Overlook – No Hike Required Escape the heat at Montana’s highest scenic overlook on the Lone Peak Expedition. Ride to 11,166 feet - no hike required - to the summit of Lone Mountain for views of three states, two national parks and mountain ranges for miles. Be on the lookout for some Big Sky locals: a herd of mountain goats often spotted sunning themselves on Lone Peak’s rocky cliffs.

Big Sky Golf Course The Big Sky Golf Course is an 18-hole, par 72 course at 6,300 feet above sea level, offering spectacular views of Lone Peak. The golf course, which winds along the wildlife-rich banks of the West Fork of the Gallatin River, was designed by the late great Arnold Palmer. Don’t miss an al fresco meal at the Bunker Deck & Grill before or after heading out on the course.

Basecamp to Yellowstone Big Sky Resort is located just one hour from the west entrance to Yellowstone National Park. If geysers and wildlife top your must-see list, but roughing it isn’t exactly your thing - enjoy the creature comforts of a resort stay at Big Sky. Ziplines Big Sky offers two zipline tours – the Nature and Adventure Ziplines. The Nature Zipline is a low-impact, 3-line course featuring segments from 350’ to 500’ in length and 30 to 60 feet in the air. For more of a thrill, ride the Explorer chairlift to the Adventure Zipline for 4,400 feet of ziplining, 150 feet above the forest floor.

The ForeverProject The ForeverProject is Big Sky Resort's sustainability roadmap with the goal of reaching net- zero carbon emissions by 2030. We have made progress towards our goal by sourcing a global purchase of renewable energy credits (RECs). 100% of Big Sky Resort's electrical use is carbon-free as of January 2021. All of Big Sky Resort's lift operations have been running on carbon-free energy since March 2020. Big Sky Resort partners with Tradewater to allow our guests to offset the carbon footprint of their trip to Big Sky by destroying harmful refrigerants.

Big Sky 2025 An ambitious 10-year capital plan, Big Sky 2025 is aimed at transforming the small town of Big Sky and its big mountain ski terrain into a world-class, year-round mountain destination. The four pillars that guide the 2025 vision include: An emphasis on the alpine experience, reimagining the Mountain Village, supporting local community development, and increasing transportation to Big Sky.

Swift Current 6 Big Sky Resort is embarking on a major chairlift upgrade, Swift Current 6, for the 2021-2022 winter season. The new six-person, high-speed lift will increase uphill capacity by nearly 50% and includes a weatherproof bubble and ultrawide heated seats. This upgrade is the resort's next step in creating the most technologically-advanced lift network in North America, a key pillar of the Big Sky 2025 vision. Swift Current 6 offers guests reliability, efficiency, and a staggeringly fast, warm, and comfortable ride up Lone Mountain.

The New Huntley Lodge The Huntley Lodge, Big Sky Resort’s original slopeside lodge located in the heart of Mountain Village, is undergoing a significant renovation of its 200 hotel rooms. Combining the unique architectural aesthetic, natural colors, and textures found in Montana, the rooms feature a new, sleek design to evoke a sense of comfort and warmth. The modern mountain rooms include spacious new bathrooms, enhanced privacy with new sound dampening, and beds with luxe linens. Remodeled rooms in are available starting in summer 2021.

Summit Hotel Transformation The Summit Hotel, the premier slopeside lodging in Big Sky, is undergoing a transformative renovation that will completely update 213 guest rooms and common spaces with a lighter, sleeker, alpine luxe aesthetic. A warm respite from the breath-taking grandeur of the natural beauty of Big Sky, The Summit Hotel debuted new common spaces and restaurant renovations for the 2020-2021 winter season. Room renovations will debut for the 2021-2022 winter season.

New Air Capacity Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport offers direct flights to 30 cities this summer, the most service in airport history. During the winter season, Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport is the most well-served ski destination across the , with flights to 19 cities.
