UNIVERSITY FACTS John Sanow is in his 12th season as head coach of the Huskies and sports an overall record of 138-167. Over the last Location Bloomsburg, Pa. six seasons, Sanow has guided the Huskies to a PSAC Tournament berth five times and a share of the PSAC Eastern Founded 1839 Division regular season championship in 2011-12. He was also named the PSAC East Coach of the Year that season. He has guided the Bald Eagles to a 61-106 overall Conference PSAC (Eastern Division) record. Last season, Lock Haven made the PSAC tournament for the fourth consecutive season - the first time a Lock Arena Nelson Field House Haven team has made the playoffs in that long of a stretch since the 1986-87 to 1989-90 seasons. In his first two seasons, President Dr. Bashar W. Hanna Nestor went 6-44 but has guided the Bald Eagles to a 55-62 record in the last four-plus years. Nestor played four seasons Director of Athletics Dr. Michael McFarland at Shippensburg (1995-99) where he was a two-year team captain. THE SERIES ... Bloomsburg got 22 points from redshirt senior Christian Mortellite and 20 points from senior Kyle-Michael Rose as the PROGRAM HISTORY Huskies held off pesky Clarion University, 83-80, on Saturday, December 9, at the Nelson Field House. With the victory, First Year of Basketball 1901-02 Bloomsburg picked up its first league win of the season as it improved to 5-4 overall and 1-4 in the Pennsylvania State All-Time Record 1321-945 Athletic Conference (PSAC) Eastern Division standings. Mortellite struggled with his shot for much of the afternoon but All-Time PSAC Record 520-398 still managed to post his sixth 20-point effort of the season. He finished 9-of-21 from the field but made only 2-of-11 from PSAC Championships 2 beyond the arc. Mortellite added a team-high eight rebounds and also chipped in three assists and a pair of steals.
