UNIVERSITY FACTS John Sanow is in his 12th season as head coach of the Huskies and sports an overall record of 138-167. Over the last Location Bloomsburg, Pa. six seasons, Sanow has guided the Huskies to a PSAC Tournament berth five times and a share of the PSAC Eastern Founded 1839 Division regular season championship in 2011-12. He was also named the PSAC East Coach of the Year that season. Enrollment 9,754 Overall, Sanow has more than 25 years of experience with previous coaching stops at the University of Vermont along with Division II schools and Pitt-Johnstown. He also spent 11 years as an assistant coach at Division I Nickname Huskies St. Francis of Pennsylvania. He has guided the Bald Eagles to a 61-106 overall Conference PSAC (Eastern Division) record. With the victory, First Year of Basketball 1901-02 Bloomsburg picked up its first league win of the season as it improved to 5-4 overall and 1-4 in the Pennsylvania State All-Time Record 1321-945 Athletic Conference (PSAC) Eastern Division standings. Mortellite struggled with his shot for much of the afternoon but All-Time PSAC Record 520-398 still managed to post his sixth 20-point effort of the season. He finished 9-of-21 from the field but made only 2-of-11 from PSAC Championships 2 beyond the arc. Mortellite added a team-high eight rebounds and also chipped in three assists and a pair of steals. Rose, meanwhile, shot 7-of-12 from the floor and was a perfect 6-of-6 from the foul line en route to a season-high 20 points. The (1952-53; 1978-79) senior added five rebounds and blocked three shots. Sophomore Khary Mauras was also in double figures for the Huskies PSAC East Championships 9 as he finished with 14 points and a career-high seven assists. The trio offset a monster performance from Clarion’s Kyheim NCAA Tournament Appearances 8 Hall who finished with 31 points and 11 rebounds in a losing effort for the Golden Eagles. PSAC Tournament Appearances 22 Lock Haven jumped out to a 51-29 lead at halftime and cruised to a 107-73 victory over Penn State Mont Alto on Monday, December 18.
