The Bald Eagles went 2-5 in PSAC East Overall Record (‘17)...... 2-9 action with the divisional wins coming over Cheyney and local-rival Bloomsburg. It marked Home...... 1-4 LHU’s second straight win over Bloomsburg and moved third-year head coach Dave Taynor to Away...... 1-5 2-1 all-time vs. Bloomsburg. Conference Record/Finish...... 2-5/7th Starters Returning/Lost...... 8/14 - Leading the way for the Bald Eagles in 2017 was the run-game. LHU finished with 2,182 rushing yards and Lock Haven finished with 198.4 yards per game, which ranked as the fourth- best rushing offense in the PSAC at the end of the regular season. Leading the way was rising sophomore quarterback Kyle Knight who rushed for eight touchdowns. Knight ran for 76 yards History per game. As a team, LHU ran for 20 TDs with 18 of 20 coming in the final six games. As a team, PSAC Titles...... 8 Lock Haven recorded three games with 300 or more rushing yards including a single-game NCAA Playoff Appearances (Record)...... In all, the two-time PSAC Offensive Player of the Week, made six starts (10GP) and finished with Head Coach 760 rushing yards (76/game), 655 passing yards (65.5/game), 10 total touchdowns (8 rush, 2 Dave Taynor (4th season) pass) and he threw for just two interceptions in 114 attempts. Knight recorded four games of 100-plus rushing yards including 174 in the comeback-win at Bloomsburg. Career Record: 45-65 (11th season) Record at Lock Haven: 8-25 - Over the second half of the season, it was a pair of true-freshmen from nearby Williamsport, Pennsylvania, who emerged as the leaders in the Bald Eagles receiving corps. Despite their 2017 Team Statistics/League Rank youth last season tight end Jalen Jackson and wide receiver Elliot Walker made a name for Offense Defense themselves. Jackson finished as LHU’s top receiver with 30.2 receiving-yards per game. In all (11GP/7GS), he made 26 catches for 332 yards. Walker (8GP/5GS) finished with 19 catches for Scoring: 18.7/13th Scoring: 33.4/14th 238 yards (29.8 yds./game). The rising sophomores will look to make some noise in 2018.
