Farewell… At the end of this term, we will say “Goodbye” to some members of staff. Mrs Brown has been promoted to a Deputy Headteacher post at a school closer to home. Ms Collins will be teaching at another school in the local area. Miss Dodd will be teaching slightly further afield- in Tanzania! Miss Edwards is moving away from Greenford and will be teaching in Berkshire. Miss Sullivan is taking up a teaching post at a school for pupils with additional needs. We would like to thank them all for their hard work, commitment and dedication to our school and wish them the very best for the future.

A message from Mrs Brown It has been an absolute pleasure and joy being part of the teaching team at Edward Betham for the past 14 years and I will be very sad to say goodbye to the children, families and staff. The ethos of the school and the nurturing environment that Betham provides for our children is amazing and one that everyone should treasure! The children and parents at Edward Betham are incredibly lucky to have such a dedicated team who want to provide the best and who are always reflecting on their practice! I love teaching children and seeing them grow and develop. I hope that, over the years, I have taught children to love learning and that learning is great fun! When past students pop back into school, it is great talking to them and hearing about their lives and their achievements. I feel proud that I have been part of their lives to help them achieve their dreams and aspire to be the best they can! Thank you to the parent community for all the support you give to your children and to the teachers; it is so valuable! Edward Betham will ALWAYS hold a very special place in my heart!
