Dilli Haat, Janakpuri gives ample opportunity for food lovers to savor delectable lip smacking food as there are 14 Nos. of food stalls set up where one will be able to savor the flavors from across the country and 15 food stalls serving cuisines from around the world. Architecture A sprawling Exposition Hall spreading over 960 Sqm. has been set up at DilliHaat, Janakpuri where various exhibitions, seminars, events etc takes place. The outer walls of the exposition halls will be covered by creepers which will provide a green roof top. This new Dilli Haat will be fully equipped with an A.C Auditorium which has a capacity of 800 seats. This auditorium will have the latest technology and equipments and will be the biggest modern auditorium in West Delhi. An Amphitheatre having 820 seat capacities is another special feature at the Haat which not only encourages art and culture but is also a one stop destination for various cultural events. Some special features of the Haat are - A huge dormitory with 80 beds ,5 Nos. of public toilets with energy efficient fittings and light fixtures, 24 x 7 Power back up, Proper sewage treatment plant, water treatment plant, rain water harvesting and 3 garbage dumping spaces have also been constructed to keep the Haat clean and eco friendly. The new Dilli Haat has been developed with a number of eco-friendly features and is fully disabled-friendly. Lifts, ramps and escalators are installed for the convenience of differently-abled persons and senior citizens. Keeping in mind the security of the general public, CCTV cameras have been installed at the venue which provides proper surveillance. There are provisions of parking at the basement and surface area. More than 240 cars, 3 buses can be parked at the surface area and almost 55 cars and 120 two wheeler can be parked at the basement parking area. Booking can also be done by depositing 50% booking amount as advance (including Service Tax/ SBC) with the condition that in case of cancellation the said advance amount will be forfeited. Otherwise, the balance payment must be deposited prior to 15 days of the event/function. 3. In case the no. of persons exceed in the party the additional amount for the Entry charges shall be deducted from the security deposit/ recoverable from party. 4. Pitching of Tent/ digging is not allowed in the premises. 5. Extra lighting arrangements, acoustic gen sets, tent items, decoration etc. to be arranged by the Organizer. Gen set wiring should not run across Pathways or should be properly covered by carpets/ tape. (Only Acoustic Gen sets are allowed). 6. Security Deposit amount @ 25% (rounded to the next thousand) of the total booking amount will be charged and is required to be paid by the party. This would be refunded after adjusting dues if any. Security Deposit can be forfeited in case of damages/ loss to the premises of Dilli Haat. 7. The Electricity Charges as per actual/ per unit will be charged extra as per the actual consumption appears in the sub-meter installed (subject to availability) at the respective venue. 8. Cooking is not allowed in the green area and exposition hall. Only semi cooked / ready to serve food after final touches can be served. The pucca area (prescribed area only) of the premises can only be used for heating up / making breads. The Organizer shall be responsible for instant removal of catering items, tent items, garbage etc. after the function/ event is over. 9. The staining of oil, heat, ice cream, spitting of pan, vegetables etc. in the Dilli Haat premises should be avoided failing which penalty as deemed fit will be recovered from the security deposit. 10. It has to be ensured by the Caterer / Organizer that hot water, ice, oil / ghee, other disposable and any leftover not to be thrown in green area / planters and are properly disposed off in co-ordination with housekeeping staff. 12. Plants, Grass, Green area, other structure must not be damaged, otherwise recoverable from security amount deposited. 13. Parking is to be paid directly to the Dilli Haat’s authorized parking contractor. 14. The Music / D.J. is permitted till 10 P.M. as per Delhi Police rules or else the Organizer shall be solely responsible for whatever legal action due to violation of rules in this regard. The dinner party shall be over by 11.P.M. The adequate guards should be arranged by the party itself for late hours. 15. The capacity of Amphitheatre is 800 persons and more than 800 persons if there is any mishap, the sole responsibility is of the party who is holding the event/ programme and DHJP will not be held responsible in any case. 16. All necessary statutory permissions / licences if any to be arranged by the Organizer and photocopies of same shall be submitted at least a day before at the Dilli Haat office. 17. The Organizer will also be responsible for behaviour and conduct of invitees, as the Dilli Haat is open to public / visitors till the Dilli Haat timings and security and housekeeping staff is working in late hours also.
