7. Description of the AVERO Motion / AVERO Motion E AVERO Motion’s concept is to facilitate bathing or showering, to promote the patient’s mobility and provide the opportunity to enjoy a relaxing bath. It is possible for both mobile and partially mobile patients to step into the tub autonomously by means of the large side-opening door. Even patients with limited mobility can look forward to autonomous access into a full bath without the use of assistive equipment or the danger of slipping inside the tub. The base frame is freely accessible, which makes a transfer to the tub either by a NORA raising aid or by means of a CARLO cloth lift possible. The tub is equipped with an electric height adjustment which can be lowered to an entry height of 49 cm, to make a smooth, autonomous transfer to the tub from a wheelchair.

Guidelines and manufacturer declaration - electromagnetic immunity (Table 204) The AVERO Motion is intended for use in the electromagnetic environment specified below. The customer or user of AVERO Motion should ensure that it is used in such an environment. Interference IEC 60601 - test Consistency Electromagnetic immunity level level Environment Guidelines tests Performed RF 3 Vrms 10 Vrms Portable and mobile RF communications IEC 61000-4-6 150 kHz to equipment should not be used closer to 80 MHz AVERO Motion, including cables, than the recommended separation distance calculated according to the applicable transmission frequency.

Where P is the nominal power of the transmitter in watts (W) according to the transmitter manufacturer and d is the recommended separation distance in meters (m).

Determines the field strength of stationary radio transmitters by electromagnetic location measurement, a – should be less than the CONCORD level in all frequency ranges. b

In the vicinity of equipment marked with the following symbol interferences are possible:

NOTE 1: At 80 MHz and 800 MHz, the higher frequency range applies.

NOTE 2: These instructions cannot be applied in all situations under certain circumstances. The propagation of electromagnetic waves is influenced by absorption and reflection from structures, objects and people. a The field strength of stationary transmitters, such as base stations of cordless telephones and land mobile radios, amateur radio, AM and FM stations as well as radio and TV stations cannot be predicted theoretically with accuracy. To assess the electromagnetic environment due to fixed RF transmitters, an electromagnetic survey site is recommended. If the measured field strength in the environment in which the AVERO Motion is to be used exceeds the applicable RF compliance level, particular attention must be paid to be able to ensure the normal operation of the AVERO Motion. If abnormalities are observed, additional measures may be necessary, such as reorienting or relocation of AVERO Motion. b In the frequency range of 150 kHz to 80 MHz, field strengths should be less than 10 V/m.

Recommended distance between portable and mobile communications systems and the AVERO Motion (Table 206)

The AVERO Motion is intended for use in an electromagnetic environment in which radiated RF disturbances are controlled. The customer or user of the AVERO Motion can prevent electromagnetic interference by maintaining a minimum distance between portable and mobile RF communications equipment (transmitters) and the AVERO Motion depending on the output of the communication device as indicated below.

Rated power Safe distance depending on transmission frequency of the device in m W 150 kHz to 800 MHz 80 MHz to 800 MHz 800 MHz to 2.5 GHz d=0.35 √P d=1.2 √P d=2,3 √P 0.01 0.04 0.12 0.23

0.1 0.11 0.38 0.73

1 0.35 1.2 2.3

10 1.1 3.8 7.3

100 3.5 12 23

For transmitters whose maximum rated power is not specified in the table above, the recommended separation distance d can be determined in meters (m) using the equation for the respective distance, where P is the maximum output power rating of the transmitter in watts (W) according to the transmitter manufacturer.

NOTE 1: 80 MHz and 800 MHz is the valid separation distance for the higher frequency range.

NOTE 2: The guidelines may not be applicable in all cases. Electromagnetic propagation is affected by absorption and reflection from structures, objects and people.
