These are not official minutes nor do they contain every detail of the meeting. 1. Approved the minutes for the September 18, 2017 Board of Education Meetin 2. Approved to enter into a Memorandum of Understanding with Gateway Head Start to partner in providing preschool services. 3. Approved to enter into a Collaboration Agreement with Gateway Head Start to partner in the identification, referral, intervention and support services protocol for children with special needs. 4. Approved Resources for Independent Living, Inc. “Learn It To Live It Pre- Employment Skills Workshops for the 2017-2018 school year. 5. Approved to contract with Genesis Educational Services to provide one (1) session of professional development for district Guidance Counselors. 6. Approved the following teachers as Google Application Teacher Facilitators during the 2017-2018 school year- Stephen Keans, Sarah Seeman. 7. Approved to accept the following items: Payment of bills. 17. Approved to enter into a Joint Transportation Agreement with Gloucester County Special Services School District with a contract for BR Williams Bus Service for Route PL1617. This route is for the Pinelands Learning Center. Gloucester County Special Services School District. 18. Approved to enter into a Joint Transportation Agreement with Upper Pittsgrove School District with a contract for BR Williams Bus Service for Route PL1617. This route is for the Pinelands Learning Center. Upper Pittsgrove School DistrictMotion to approve to enter into a Joint Transportation Agreement with Woodstown- Pilesgrove School District with a contract for BR Williams Bus Service for Route SHS06. This route is for the Arthur P. Schalick HS Academy. Woodstown-Pilesgrove School District’s cost will be in the amount of the cost per pupil. 19. Approved to enter into a Parental Contract for Student Transportation with AB to transport his daughter, A.B., to Bankbridge Developmental Center for the period September 1, 2017 to June 30, 2018. 20. Approved to enter into a Parental Contract for Student Transportation with DB to transport his grandson, J.B., to Early Childhood Learning Center. 21. Approved special education out of district placements for the 2017-18 school year. 22. Approved to adopt the New Jersey State Interscholastic Athletic Association (N.J.S.I.A.A.) membership resolution that allows the Penns Grove High School to participate in approved interschool athletic programs for the 2017-2018 school year, and pursuant to N.J.S.A. 18A:11-3 in adopting this resolution, agrees to be governed by the Constitution Bylaws and rules and regulations of N.J.S.I.A.A. 23. Approved the following Use of Facilities: a. Iglesia Un Cantico Nuevo to use the Field Street gymnasium from October 1, 2017 to May 30, 2018 (principal approved Mondays and Wednesdays) from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM for the purpose of Outreach for Youth. b. PGHS PTO to use the Penns Grove High School driveway/parking lot on October 28, 2017 from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM for the purpose of holding a clothing drive. c. PGHS FFA Chapter to use the Penns Grove High School gymnasium on October 31, 2017 from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM for the purpose of holding American Red Cross Blood Drive. d. PGMS Music Department to use the Penns Grove High School auditorium on December 4, 2017 (8:00 AM to 11:00 AM) and December 5, 2017 (4:00 PM to 8:00 PM) for the purpose of holding a winter concert. e. PGHS Music Department to use the Penns Grove High School auditorium on December 18, 2017 from 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM for the purpose of holding a winter concert.
