The GPS had trouble locating the station but once the group arrived they were welcomed with open arms and had a wonderful time on the air with David Burkhalter. The sec- ond visit was at WLLX in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. Eddie Landtroop talked with Joe and introduced him to the station owner, Roger Wright, who gave him a tour of their space including a dance hall. Joe was also warmly received in Jamestown, Tennessee, at WDEB by Garry Clark and in Hartsville, Tennessee, at WTNK by Jerry Richmond. While on the air, Joe talked about growing up around men who served in various wars and being a vet- eran himself. ALBUM OFENDLESS THE MONTH SONGS OF ETERNITY

Forerunner Music has released a new album that helps celebrate the best songs from the International House Of Prayer in Kansas City, Missouri. All of the songs on this album focus on the second coming of Jesus, as well as eternity. Some of the artists that con- tribute to this compilation are Merchant Band, Audra Lynn, Cory Asbury and Julie Meyer. The album opens with Merchant Band’s “I Can’t Wait,” which is a dynamic anthem about looking forward to spending eternity in Heaven. Jonas Park’s “Coming Home” is definitely a magical moment on the album. His vocal has so much character and believability. This song was written from the perspective of Jesus, which is extremely unique. The comfort- ing lyric is supported by jubilant production. Other songs to check out are “Shine On Us” and “City Of Great King.” The positive nature of this album makes it really easy to listen to. Not to mention, the artists that contribute to the project are amazingly talented.

THE EASTER BROTHERS | I’D DO IT ALL OVER AGAIN

The Easter Brothers have been making Gospel Music since the early 1950s. The three brothers have written over 400 songs throughout their careers, including the title track to their new album, I’d Do It All Over Again. The title track was written with Gerald Crabb and is a great ending to a wonderful album. The album starts, however, with a fun, up-tempo song titled “Let The Hallelujah Roll.” This song is a great example of the Easter Brothers music. Other songs worth noting on this album are “The Lost Sheep” and “Little By Little, Drifting Too Far.” The latter song is a mid-tempo song with a powerful lyric. The vocal delivery is great too, as you can hear the conviction in the brother’s voices. Given how long the Easter Brothers have been making music, it’s not hard to believe how great the trio sounds. Their music is going to be around forever, and the Gospel music world should be grateful for that gift.

KRISTY COX | LIVING FOR THE MOMENT

Australian Bluegrass artist Kristy Cox released a new album on February 18, 2014. This multi-award win- ning star has found a new home in Nashville, Tennessee, and releases this album on Pisgah Records. Produced by Nashville songwriter Jerry Salley, this album certainly captures the Bluegrass-feel that Cox is known for internationally. The album also includes songs written by hit writers like Jim McBride, Gerald Crabb and others. Cox has a wonderful vocal. She has that pure tone that is very hard to find. She sounds particularly great on “Something In The Way” and “I’ll Cry Tonight.” There are plenty of great songs on this album, though. It’s also worth noting that the album was A&R’d by Mickey Gamble, as the song selection is magnificent. Keep your eyes on Kristy Cox, she is going to do great things in the USA.

MATT WALLACE | FOR A SEASON

Up-and-comer Matt Wallace released his first solo album on March 11. Currently, Wallace is the bassist for Pinecastle Records artists Mark Newton and Steve Thomas, but on this particular project, Wallace takes the spotlight. His skills as a bass player and his unique vocal are the focus of this 10-song album. Wallace also has the help of his friends in singing 5 songs on the project. The album opens with a groovy song, “Creepin’ In.” The second song “Old Man Winter” is the first single off the project. This song has a nostalgic feeling to it and is really well-produced. Wallace also covers the Neil Diamond song “Long Gone,” which is a fun track. Other songs to check out are “Home In Tennessee” and “Lonesome Homesick Blues.” Wallace’s debut album is really well-done. Expect great things from this talented musician and artist.
