Since it's release in May 2012, Strongman’s new acoustic CD A Natural Fact has been getting regular airplay and admirable reviews from critics in Canada and USA, regular positions on the !Earshot and Roots Music Report charts. Strongman was also one of the featured artists of the week on popular roots music website The Alternate Root and featured on Sirius XM blues radio program B.B. King’s Bluesville, in the top 15 charts. In 2012 Strongman has performed for thousands of fans at festivals including Barrie Jazz and Blues Festival, Limestone City Blues Festival, Mont Tremblant International Blues Festival, Donnaconna Festival du Blues, Trois Rivieres en Blues and a coveted opening spot for the legendary Robert Cray.

In early 2013, Strongman was the big winner at the , taking home trophies for Guitar Player of the Year, Recording/Producer of the Year, (A Natural Fact, Produced by Rob Szabo), and the Socan Songwriter of the Year. Strongman led the National Maple Blues Awards nominations with six, including Electric Act of the Year, Acoustic Act of the Year, and Entertainer of the Year. He was also recently nominated for Blues Artist or Group of the Year for the 13th Annual Independent Music Awards – The SiriusXM Indies.

Beginning his professional music career at the age of 16, Strongman has spent over 20 years touring Canada, Europe and, more recently, South America. Along the way he’s been chosen to open shows and perform with Buddy Guy, Jimmie Vaughan, Randy Bachman, Roy Clark, Otis Clay, , Sonny Landreth, and British legend, Joe Cocker, to name a few.
