In addition to the web development skills he learned at Deloitte, he has learned state-of-the-art technologies in machine learning and computer vision, implementing face-recognition models using convolutional neural networks. He has also been solving coding challenges on LeetCode and HackerRank and is currently a 5-star problem solver on HackerRank at the international level.

From knowing very little about analytics, she went on to work with a leading QSR client, dealing with big data, performing analytics and consulting for them. She picked up SaS and SQL along with her existing consulting and presentation skills. She is now working for another retail client and is learning more about text analytics. All in all, the last one year has been quite enriching in terms of professional experiences.

She founded a learning and development company, fire.fly, where they work with a lot of students and professionals on skills of creativity and compassion. He recently won the National Finals of the Microsoft PM Challenge, a competition to test Product Management skills amongst the elite B-Schools of India. His stint at Deloitte helped him succeed at B-School as he was able to leverage his experiences working with digital transformation projects to successfully make a career transition into Product Management roles.

Amit Choubey, Consulting, Enterprise Performance, shares that his journey in SAP Labs has been good so far. He has had opportunities to learn the latest technologies like BOPF, UI5, CDS with advanced annotations and OData. He is also working on S4HANA Cloud Platform development with end to end business process knowledge in the procurement area. The one thing he misses from Deloitte is the flexibility of working hours and timings.

Ankit Kiritkumar Gandhi, Consulting, Enterprise Performance, had a great time with Deloitte. He worked in two projects in his nine months and learned a lot during his time at Deloitte, even getting an Applause award for his role in one of the firm initiatives.

Ashish Shankar Patil, Consulting, Enterprise Performance, works as an SAP Fiori Consultant, while also pursuing an online certification for Machine Learning. What he loved about Deloitte was the flexibility offered.

News about you | March 2020 Soma Majumder, Consulting, Human Capital, shares that her journey has been quite amazing and adventurous. After working for eight years, she took some time off to upskill her business knowledge by pursuing an MBA from the Grenoble Ecole De Management. After completing the MBA in June 2020, she would look to rejoin Deloitte in Belgium or France where she is currently located.

Atul Kumar, Consulting, National Consulting, shares that it was great working with Deloitte. He is doing well at Group M as Director, Strategy and Insight. He would like to rejoin Deloitte in the future.

Parimita Shah, Consulting, National Consulting, had the opportunity to work as an intern (Engagement Financial Advisor) for Deloitte during the months of May and June 2019. She thoroughly enjoyed her internship last summer and now has some valuable experience under her belt. Skills such as multi-tasking, communicating, learning to deal with diversity, and dealing with deadlines were some of the crucial ones she picked up. Internships are also a great way to network with people in the industry. The whole experience helped her reinforce her sense of responsibility, focus, drive and ambition.

Sri Lakshmi, Consulting, National Consulting, has 12.5 years of experience primarily with Big 4s both in Consulting and Tax. She currently works as a manager at a Big 4 firm as part of the global payroll implementation. Her role is challenging and fulfilling, and she would love to return to Deloitte in the future.

Anujyoti Datta, Consulting, Strategy & Analytics, is part of the Solution Enablement team of Hitachi responsible for the EMEA and part of SEA markets. It has been quite a learning experience, especially on the product engineering and IoT side of manufacturing including smart factory, video analytics, and AR/VR. He has got a chance to spread his wings beyond Big Data and analytics into the world of predictive maintenance, smart city, and smart space solutions.

Neeraj Sharma, Consulting, Strategy & Analytics, says that he loved working at Deloitte. The way Deloitte treats its people and helps its employees achieve their career goals is something he hasn't seen elsewhere. Chandan Kumar Salla, Consulting, Technology, joined Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd., working in the Marketing Department in Coimbatore where he was responsible for the supply and distribution of petroleum products to all the retail outlets. Later in 2017 he moved to the Information Systems Department and relocated to Mumbai. He worked closely with different business units of HPCL providing Data Analytics solutions across the company. He developed an interest in machine learning and artificial intelligence and is currently pursuing a PGDM in Machine Learning and AI from IIIT Bangalore. He wants to see himself become a successful data scientist in the near future.

Deepak Kumar Gupta, Consulting, Technology, shares that after leaving the consulting field, he joined the test-prep industry at his hometown in Kota, Rajasthan. Parallelly, he completed his PGDBM and Digital Marketing course with NMIMS & Symbiosis in a distance learning mode.

Divya Sathiraju, Consulting, Technology, recently got certified as a Google Cloud Certified Professional Data Engineer. She's currently moved back to India from the UK and is looking for opportunities in Chennai.

Muralidharan Svj, Consulting, Technology, shares that 2019 was a great year. After moving on from Deloitte in May 2019, he joined ING Bank Netherlands as a DevOps Engineer. He currently works on IBM Datastage, IBM Cognos, Python, Spark and Microsoft Azure.

Naga Ranjan Darbha, Consulting, Technology, shares that after he left Deloitte in 2013, he re-joined OpenText and stayed for four years. He left OpenText in 2018 and started doing some freelance consulting. Since then, he started his own firm named RugvedSoft with his mentor and guide. Recently, they successfully completed a big project for the Hyderabad branch of a German company and got a lot of accolades from the client. One thing he liked very much at Deloitte was that it always strived to create a complete software engineer, not just a developer. He always recommends Deloitte as the best place for one’s career.

Namita Singh, Consulting, Technology, says that after she quit Deloitte, she joined her husband for a expat mission in Africa for two years. She then joined the Masters program in Computer Science at the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee, USA in 2018 and graduated in May 2019. Post graduation she joined Infosys Limited as Technology Lead in Charlotte, NC, USA. It has been an exciting journey with lots of learning and personal growth. She is still in touch with her last Deloitte manager and he helped her with all his guidance and support in making the right decisions. However it feels as if it was just a couple of years ago. Deloitte was his first organization experience and the stint laid a strong foundation for his carrer. Be it the soft skills training, communication gym, or the awesome work culture, everything contributed to his success. The Applause Awards, Family Days, and Impact Days are still fresh in his memory. He comments that it has been a great leap ahead from Document Services (DCS) in Deloitte to Project Management Office (PMO) in Accenture.

Reddypally Sandeep Reddy, Internal Services, Business Plan & Analysis, now works in Dubai as an Implementation Consultant. The one thing which he loved about Deloitte is the focus on employee well-being and the L&D courses which helped him shape himself.

Syed Arif, Internal Services, Business Plan & Analysis, feels grateful that he got a chance in 2011 to work with amazing people in the most amazing work environment and had a wonderful time at Deloitte. He then joined DSM as a Reporting and Analytics Officer and got an opportunity to travelled to Europe. Eesh Dev Varma, Internal Services, Core Talent Services, shares that eight years ago, he moved on from Deloitte after a great six and a half years, across three HR roles. He takes pride in being the core contributor of some large-scale, high-impact projects across strategic HR services. He is now a certified Leadership & Team Coach and works on leadership and managerial effectiveness besides being the India Head HR for a US MNC.

Janani Pratheb, Internal Services, Core Talent Services, obtained the PHR certification in December 2018. She's joined Fusion Consulting as a Senior Consultant working on consulting projects in Alcon.

Paras Kumar, Internal Services, Core Talent Services, completed the Green-Belt certification for project delivery at his current organization and was recognized as a top manager. Deloitte and its processes helped him achieve this success. Though there are no official check-ins in his current organisation, he used to do regular check-ins with his Deloitte team. This really helped build a self-organizing team. He has also completed the Agile certification.

Raghava Avvari, Internal Services, Core Talent Services, shares that it’s been a great journey so far and it’s been as exciting as he anticipated it to be as the HR Leader for his organisation. Being a start-up, it was critical to ramp up quickly and to set the tone by establishing the right culture in a highly dynamic environment. The experience at Deloitte helped him immensely in coping with all the ups and downs of such an exhilarating journey and still keeps him going. Richa Shrivastava, Internal Services, Core Talent Services, shares that working with Deloitte Consulting as a Specialist Senior for five and a half years was full of tremendous learning and challenges. Sheethal Naidu, Internal Services, Core Talent Services, says it’s been 11 years since she left Deloitte and settled in New Zealand, yet it feels like yesterday. Her role at Deloitte gave her an opportunities to communicate, interact and facilitate with 100+ staff, all of which nurtured her interpersonal and presentation skills and helped her in both the roles she picked up later. The journey from Deloitte to studies in NZ, to a telesales representative later, followed by being an account manager, and currently a team lead at the largest energy retailer, Genesis Energy, has been one crazy career path with heaps of learnings. One thing she misses about Deloitte is the people - they made and, she's sure, still make all the difference in delivering success.

News about you | March 2020 Vikrant Ahlawat, Internal Services, Core Talent Services, shares that after a memorable time at Deloitte, he moved from Talent Acquisition to Resource Management and accepted an offer with DXC Technology. He has now been tasked to lead the regional resource management group for a business vertical where he's been recognized and awarded for providing excellent client experience. He finds great learning and challenging work there. However, he misses Deloitte's culture and shared beliefs to conduct business and wishes to be a part of Deloitte again soon.

Viplav Kumar Singh, Internal Services, Core Talent Services, shares that he joined HCL post-Deloitte and moved on to another Big 4 firm and then FIS, to return back to HCL after two years. The past four years in HCL have brought three promotions and an increase in duties with every passing year. The current duties involve leading HR for an entire region of North America with 7500+ employees and 20+ countries. This includes strategic HR consulting, performance management, and designing & driving corporate projects. While each organization has provided great learnings, Deloitte has always been his first love, being his first organization. He wishes the team success at every stage and appreciates the efforts Deloitte puts in to stay connected to each alumnus.

Yerra Shankar, Internal Services, Core Talent Services, currently works at Vishakhapatanam as an HR specialist. He has learnt so much at Deloitte with all the trainings and guidance from his coaches. He misses the work culture, employee engagements, and especially the WFH option and other benefits. He shares that although he works for a different organization, he still embodies the values and virtues he picked up at Deloitte.

News about you | March 2020 Maya Devi Bhat, Internal Services, feels that her team in Deloitte was great. They were always busy multi-tasking but had a great team spirit led by good managers.

Rahul Ghosh, Internal Services, has joined a Google vendor and works to support Google AdWords. He still wants to go back to being a SAP SD Consultant. He hopes to rejoin Deloitte soon.

Sriharika Akella, Internal Services, shares that his experience with Deloitte was like a roller coaster ride, though now he thoroughly cherishes every moment spent there. He is taking a break learning yoga and pursuing a yoga teacher-training certification. He is looking forward to get back to corporate life in another six months and Deloitte will be his first choice at that point.

Surya Patro, Internal Services, has got a certified as an Automation Specialist from Tosca and is currently getting certified in Data Science.

Swetha Ganti, Internal Services, left Deloitte as she moved to the US. Her journey with Deloitte was great and has certainly added to her learning and experience.

Varun Vardhan, Internal Services, takes pride in Deloitte being his previous employer and has joined Vigilant Technologies as a Project Manager. Vigilant is an Oracle Platinum Partner. His Deloitte experience added a lot of value to his profile, with client interactions and leadership support.

Venkata Sainath Parakala, Internal Services, recalls his one year at Deloitte with fondness of his first employer. Drona Banerjee, Risk and Financial Advisory, Cyber Risk, shares that it's been seven months into his new life as a graduate student at University of Florida and from participating in hackathons to spending all his time in learning new developments in the tech world like quantum computing, the new chapter of his life has been quite eventful so far. He has learnt a lot of new skills in this period as well as augmented some existing skills developed while at Deloitte. His experience at Deloitte helped him a lot in settling down into his student life and in facing new challenges. The two most important skills that he developed while at Deloitte were time management and problem-solving skills, both of which are critical for a graduate student. Kriti Rawal, Risk and Financial Advisory, Cyber Risk, had the best learning experience at Deloitte with an amazing manager and mentor. The US team she worked with was extraordinary and is still in touch after four years. She completed her MBA from ISB, Hyderabad and started working in the FMCG industry with L’Oreal. She will shortly join Unilever after spending 2.5 years at L’Oreal.

Md. Nawaz Ali Khan, Risk and Financial Advisory, Cyber Risk, works as a delivery manager for the security operation center in his current organization. He has recently cleared the PMP certification.

Subhojit Roy, Risk and Financial Advisory, Cyber Risk, currently leads the data protection program at Flipkart. It is a totally different and amazing experience being back to school. He is proud to be the teaching assistant at one of the most important and valuable courses in SJSU. He also got an opportunity to assist the Director of the Software Engineering Department in maintaining the department's internal tool used to handle student enrollments. Mukundan Kadanthrikkovil Variyam, Risk and Financial Advisory, Financial Risk, Transformation & Restructuring, is currently with Allcargo Logistics Ltd. He is responsible for the global internal audit and risk management. Deloitte experience helped him handle this position with such a large responsibility. Particularly, it helped in the IFC implementation in India. CPA sponsorship helped learn accounting practices in other countries too and so he's always grateful to Deloitte.

Abhishek Bhatt, Risk and Financial Advisory, Regulatory & Operational Risk, shares that it's been a little more than a year with State Street. He has been able to contribute to the organization's mission and has been recognized for his efforts with a promotion to the role of Manager. His time with Deloitte helped him work on multiple projects and provided a broad exposure to regulatory requirements.

Navyanjali Kondapaneni, Risk and Financial Advisory, Regulatory & Operational Risk, is currently doing her Masters degree in GSU and also works as a graduate assistant in different roles. Venkata Santosh Pavan Pisapati, Risk and Financial Advisory, Regulatory & Operational Risk, shares that after Deloitte, he joined North Carolina State University to do his Masters degree in Computer Science.

Vipul Aggarwal, Risk and Financial Advisory, Risk Intelligence, has been fortunate to work on multiple data science projects on Python and R while doing Masters in Business Analytics at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Pratyush Choudhury, Tax, Global Employer Services, shares that he got promoted last year to Assistant Manager at his current organization. He misses working at Deloitte. He misses the city, the work culture, and everything else at Deloitte. He attended the first alumni meet at Bangalore last year and met with the leadership team. He feels that for those couple of hours he actually felt like he'd never left Deloitte and is still a part of the family. He had to quit his job at Deloitte due to a medical emergency at home, but Deloitte was and is his dream company and he'd love to return. Lakshmi Kanaka Durga, Tax, National Tax, shares that after working for 13.5 years with Deloitte at the Hyderabad office, she has now moved to another Big 4 firm in Bangalore. She got promoted as an Assistant Director and completed Scrum and Prince certifications. The Deloitte journey has been wonderful and she cherishes her time with Deloitte.

Merrin Mathews Jacob, Tax, National Tax, feels that the level of professionalism and standards that Deloitte maintains is quite high. The facilities and activities available to employees are extremely wide when compared to other corporates. She would love to return to Deloitte in the coming years.

Naresh Khanal, Tax, National Tax, shares that after working in Deloitte Hyderabad for almost five years, he had to return back to Nepal for personal reasons. The learning which he acquired in Deloitte helped him land his current role as a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Auditors' Association of Nepal. He is also involved in a new start-up where he's applying the values learnt at Deloitte to make the start-up the first employee-centric organisation in Nepal.

Sandeep Kavety, Tax, National Tax, shares that after working with Deloitte for more than four years, he moved to another professional services firm as a senior software engineer where he led the analytics team. As someone who has been an intrepreneur at Deloitte, he was keen to start his own business. So, after working for over a year at a competitor, he started his start-up in event management. In a year, the start-up provided services at more than 50 events. Currently he heads the data analytics team of Gray Matters India which is an education analytics and impact assessment company.

Remya Krishnan, Tax, shares that her life in Deloitte was awesome. She got opportunities to work with people from different cultures and backgrounds. Deloitte will always be her first home and she hopes to return to Deloitte soon.
