Terms and Conditions: NSW SunSmart Program Marquee Competition

1. Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these conditions of entry.

2. It is assumed all entrants have read the Terms and Conditions prior to entering.

3. The competition is known as the NSW SunSmart Primary School Program Marquee Competition.

4. Entry is open to all eligible non SunSmart NSW primary schools that join the SunSmart Primary School Program from 8 October 2012 and are classified as a SunSmart School before 5pm AEST on 21 December 2012.

5. To be classified as SunSmart, schools must complete the following steps. All documents and forms are available at www.cancercouncil.com.au/primary

1. Complete the Contact Details/ Partnership Commitment form. 2. Submit your Sun Protection Policy. To join the SunSmart Program you need to submit a copy of your school’s Sun Protection Policy to ensure it covers the 10 SunSmart recommendations. You can choose to use the developed Sun Protection Policy by completing Cancer Council NSW Primary School Sun Protection Policy or update your school’s current Sun Protection Policy to cover the 10 recommendations. 3. 6. All eligible NSW primary schools that fulfil the criteria detailed in clauses 4 and 5 above will automatically be entered into the draw unless they choose to opt out.

7. Multiple entries are not permitted.

8. This competition is a game of chance. All valid entries will form part of that random draw. The first two valid entries drawn will win the NSW SunSmart Primary School Program Marquee prize.

9. Employees of the Promoter and its agencies associated with this competition are ineligible and may not enter the competition.

10. Competition commences 8 October 2012. Entries close 21 December 2012 at 5pm AEST. The draw for the prize will take place at 153 Dowling Street Woolloomooloo NSW 2011 on 21 January 2013. Winners will be notified by telephone and by mail and the name of the prize winner will be published on www.cancercouncil.com.au/primary on 28 January 2013. No correspondence will be entered into.

11. The prize is 1 of 3 Marquees. The Marquee is 3x3m, has a reinforced aluminium frame with a woven blue polyester top and comes with a wheeled carry bag. It is 100% waterproof, 99.5% UV protective, and fully endorsed by Cancer Council.

12. There are 3 marquees available. They are valued at $2,500 each, total prize value of $7,500.

13. A primary school can only win 1 marquee valued at $2,500 each.

15. Prize value cannot be redeemed for cash. In the event that for any reason whatsoever the winner does not claim the prize by 8 February 2013 then the winner will forfeit the prize. Cash will not be awarded in lieu of the prize.

16. The prizes are not transferable or refundable or exchangeable.

17. The Promoter may conduct a further prize draw for the competition at the same place as the original draw if necessary on 11 February 2013. For a redraw to take place, the prize should be unclaimed by that date.

18. The Promoter will organise and pay for the marquee to be delivered to the three winning schools.

19. No responsibility accepted for late, lost or misdirected applications.

20. All applications become the property of the Promoter. All entries will be entered into a database and the Promoter may use the applicants' name and addresses for future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes as per the Promoter's privacy policy that can be viewed at www.cancercouncil.com.au
