Sub: Mining Plan (Revision-2) (including Mine Closure Plan) for (No 2 & 2A and No 5) Coal Mine of Singareni Collieries Company Limited located in Godavari Valley Coalfield, Dist. -reg.

Sir.

I am directed to refer the subject mentioned above and to state that after due deliberation Standing Committee approved the Mining Plan (Revision-2) (including Mine Closure Plan) for Godavarikhani (No 2 & 2,A and No 5) Coal Mine of M/S Singareni Collieries Company Limited subject to the following conditions:-

i. The mining company shall ensure to get detail exploration of the area earmarked for extemal OB dump in the area under reference and based on the finding of the detailed exploration the mining company shall come up with revised,/modified Mining plan; ii. The Project Proponent shall take all necessary precautions regarding safety ofmine workings. persons deployed therein and operations of the Mining Plan should be placed under single manager; !ii. Mining lease ofthis block shall not encroach into any other adjacent coal block; iv. The cost of abandonment for carrying out the closurl activities envisaged in the Mine closure plan is indicative; the actual cost for carrying out the activities at the time of final closure may be higher. The actual cost of abandonment will have to be bome by the project proponent for carrying out the closure activities. v. The approval of the Mining Plan (including Mine Closure Plan) is without prejudice to the requirement of approvals from competent / prescribed authority under the rejevant rules/ regulations etc.
