Jai Jinendra The ultimate dream for every shravak is to build a derasar. This dream is finally becoming a reality for the members of Jain Society of Central Florida. Today our hearts are filled with immense joy. The seeds of this dream were sown many years ago. After the years of hard work and support from every member of the sangh. today, with great pride we are making this auspicious announcement. Jain Society of Central Florida would like to cordially invite you, your friends and families to the Pratistha Mahotsav of the grand new Shikharbandi Derasar from Thursday, September 12th 2013 to Monday, September 16th 2013. Mark your Invitation calendars and please save this date to attend the Pratistha Mahotsav. Our Pratishtha will be perfomed under the expert guidance of renowned vidhikar Shri Narendrabhai Nandu. We request your presence on this divine occasion with devotion. Respectfully, JSOCF Committee http://www.jsocf.org Jain Society of Central Florida Anila Vijay Poonai Tirth My wife, Anila maintained a large collection of books on Jain studies and philosophy at our home. Since leaving India in 1961, Anila made it a point to return every year for pilgrimages to visit Jain tirthas in every nook and corner of India. She loved visiting different Jain tirthas each year. While on these pilgrimages, she contributed lovingly to the upkeep of the temples and to promote the ancient tradition of the Dharamshalas and Bhojanshalas. Anila’s life was dedicated to promote the principles and practice of Jainism. It is my pleasure to keep my wife Anila’s faith alive. “Anila Vijay Poonai Tirth” will fulfill her dream of promoting Jainism and leave an everlasting legacy for all Jains. On behalf of JSOCF, I am deeply honored to welcome you and your family to this grand “Pran Pratistha Mahotsav”. In her prayers Dr. Anilaben always expressed her hope that soon the tenets of Jainism would rescue mankind from self- destruction. - Dr. Parmanand Vijay Poonai
JSOCF committee would like to recognize Dr. Parmanand Vijaybhai Poonai as Mahajanpati for his generous donation to complete the Derasar Project

Chyavan Kalyanak : Chyavan Kalyanak is the moment when the soul of our Tirthankar enters the womb of his mother. Saudharm Indra assembles his cabinet & celebrates the joyous day with music & dances. Mother witnesses 14 dreams this night. The advent of our Tirthankar’s soul into human form is celebrated as Chyavan Kalyanak.
Janma Kalyanak : This is the event when the Tirthankar’s soul is born. Jan means birth and Janma Kalyank means the birth of Tirthankar soul in human body. 56 young girls present the mother with the gifts through joyous dances. Saudharm Indra takes the newborn Bhagwan to Mount Meru in a large procession. The Birth is celebrated with songs & dances. At Mount Meru the Bhagwan’s Abhishek is done with 1008 Kalash. Child God’s birth is celebrated for the spiritual fulfillment, as this is His last birth.
Diksha Kalyanak : In the King’s assembly the young prince declares his intention of renouncing the worldly life and the parents accept this decision with joy. Nine Lokantik angles praise the renunciation thoughts of the prince. The prince donates 1 crore gold coins everyday to the needy persons and there after takes Diksha (Renunciation). This is the event when the Tirthankar’s soul gives up all his worldly possessions and becames a monk.
Kevalgyan Kalyanak : This is event when Tirthankar’s soul destroys the four ghati karmas completely and attains the Kevalgyan (absolute knowledge). Celestial angels set Samavasaran for Tirthankars from where they deliver the first sermon. This is the most important event for the entire Jain order as the Tirthankar reinstates Jain Sangh and preaches the Jain path of purification and liberation.
Nirvan Kalyanak : This event is when a Tirthankar’s soul is liberated from this worldly physical existence forever and becomes a Siddha. On this day, the Tirthankar’s soul destroys the four aghati karmas completely, and attains salvation, the state of eternal bliss. Panch Kalyanak Panch Kalyanak Raj Darbar Raj Darbar
