• If you are using a money order for your monthly rent or assessment, it is very important that at a minimum, your lot number is included. We have received numerous payments that do not identify to which home it is to be posted. • The Park Office is still attempting to update everyone’s files and is asking for updated phone numbers, contact information and also a copy of the title(s) to your home. Please stop by or email the office with this information. Your cooperation in this matter is greatly appreciated! • Just a reminder to all Serendipity shareholders, the Annual Membership Meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, January 13th in the East Clubhouse at 7:00PM. Please attend if at all possible. If not please remit the proxy that was sent to you in December as part of Annual Meeting packet. • There are also a few Shareholders who have yet to return their Voting Cer- tificate, so we have also included those in your packet with instructions as to how and who needs to sign off on these. Please keep in mind if they are not completed properly, you will not be able to vote in this year’s election. Call or email me with any questions you have regarding this form. • A list of Serendipity’s Rules and Regulations are posted on the bulletin boards in each of the clubhouses. We can also make you a copy of them if you so desire. Here are just a few of them: • Rules # 19 states in part that “automobiles must be parked in the driveway of your lot and are not allowed to park on the roads overnight, or ON LAWNS AT ANY TIME.” • Rule # 28 states that “Mobile Home Owners may not cross occupied lots without the mobile homeowners of that lot having given permission.” • Rule # 30 states in part that “All subletting residents must sublet for a minimum of three (3) months. Additionally, all new residents…must meet the same standards and require- ments for entry into the Park.” • Your cooperation in adhering to these and all the Rules and Regulations of the Community is very important in maintaining the quality of living in this Park. • No new major projects are on the horizon, just a continuation of trying to maintain and upgrade the Park where needed. • Thank all of you who contribute so much of your time and effort to keep Serendipity the high quality Park that it is, and I wish to extend to everyone a joyous, wonderful 2015. ello everyone. Your social committee has been busy arranging upcoming events for your enjoyment. Sure hope you will come out and have a good time with us. For those of Hyou that had the pleasure of attending the Cahal Dunne concert last season, we have the pleasure of bringing him back on JANUARY 19th. Cahal is known world-wide and is ranked as one of the greatest IRISH showman in the business. He has been on TV numerous times. Don't miss this great event. Tickets will be on sale on January 10th at 10:00 a.m. in the West or small clubhouse. Last year was a sell out so come early. On JANUARY 25th there will be a Spaghetti dinner and Country Western Dance. Tickets will be on sale January 17th at 10:00 a.m. in the West or small clubhouse. Please watch the bulletin board for events and information regarding social. We do spend a lot of time trying to bring you the best that we think you will enjoy. any of you come to Florida to get away from the cold, snowy winters of the northern areas of the U.S. and Canada. Most winter temperatures we experience here in Florida Mare very mild and the coldest spells don’t last that long. Comparatively speaking, even our coldest winters can’t compare to those of the north (40°F doesn’t seem that bad compared to freezing temperatures or lower). And, there is no snow to shovel! We usually warm up within a few days. Most of the time the sun is shining and that makes it better! According to the weather experts, this winter will be colder and rainier than normal. The coldest temperatures will occur in early January, with other cool periods in mid- and late January. April and May will be hotter than normal, with above-normal rainfall.

As we inch closer to the winter we see all signs pointing to an El Nino in Central Florida and this can often mean wild weather in the form of severe thunderstorms, tornadoes and flooding rain. It's not a guarantee but most of the winter forecast will ride on the power of El Nino and how far south the Southern Jet decides to set up shop in Tampa-St. Pete. Past El Nino's have been a hit or miss with areas to the north getting the bulk of the rain and wild weather. We feel Central Florida will get its fair share of wild weather, especially in later December and January when we expect to see El Nino in full force.

The fun league plays on Tuesdays and Thursdays (and Fridays if we get a lot of new members). The game is a lot of fun and not difficult to learn – any club member can get you started. The “A” and “B” teams are both doing well in the Big Ten League and the Stirling League began play on December 3rd. The club has been looking into options for curtains around our new roof over. The only thing we feel certain about at this point is that they will be expensive. If you have any ideas for fund raising, I will listen! The banquet this season will be Sunday, March 22, 2015. I hear that some folks would a change of menu and that maybe we could have some entertainment. I hope that ALL members will attend meetings to provide direction on these (and other) questions. The meetings are always on the first Tuesday of the month at 3:30 (following the fun league game) in the West Clubhouse. I will see you there at the courts.
