Prayer and Lord’s Prayer The Kirk Session is delighted to announce the appointment of Mr Children’s Talk Tony Baldwin as our organist. Hymn 448 ‘Lord, the light of your love is shining’ There will be a brief meeting of the Kirk Session following this morning’s service. The Word of God The October/November edition of The Parishioner is available for John 8:12-20 (P86) distribution today. Hymn 132 ‘Immortal, invisible, God only wise’ Stirling Kirks Together – An Eco Messy Church will be held in St Columba’s Church Hall this afternoon from 3:30-6pm. There will be Prayer of Intercession games, craftwork, singing and food. Registration forms are in the McMichael Chapel. Hymn 135 ‘O laughing Light, O first-born of creation’ The Tuesday Group begins the new session this Tuesday at Sermon 7:30pm in the Parish Halls. Craig Mair will give a talk on ‘Hamish the Highland Coo’! Offering The first Soup and Sandwich lunch of the new session will be on Prayer of Dedication Saturday from 12-1:30pm in the Parish Halls. You will be most welcome! Hymn 543 ‘Longing for light, we wait in darkness’ Blythswood Care Shoebox Appeal 2017 – Leaflets are available in Benediction and Three-Fold Amen both vestibules. Individual items or filled shoeboxes can be left at the Church between now and the 12th of November.
