Raploch Community Campus In keeping with the Dean’s undertaking to raise the profile of the Guildry he attended a special open day at the New Raploch Community Campus. This is a very modern and bold venture combining three schools and a community centre in one building. He was particularly impressed with the advanced facilities in Castle View School for children with additional needs. Bannockburn Cairn The Dean, Dean’s Council and invited guests including the Lord Lieutenant and Provost Wood attended a ceremony at Bannockburn Heritage Centre on Wednesday 18th June to commemorate the building of the Cairn over 50 years ago. The Guildry in 1956 arranged the public subscription for the erection of the cairn in 1957 at a cost of £771.11.10d. The Guildry have paid for the restoration carried out recently.
